After WBC Light Middleweight Champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez dispatched Kermit Cintron last night via 5th-round TKO, the rising Mexican star called out Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

So, of course, it's time for another "Who Wins And Why?" post and poll.

Poll above and leave your thoughts below.

Even though Canelo is larger than Mayweather and has youth and power on his side, I still pick Mayweather in this bout.

Alvarez looked horrible against Gomez. Awful. If Gomez could do that to him, I can only imagine what Mayweather could do.

I don't discount the possibility of Alvarez winning the fight. He has the power and ability to do so. But I have to pick Floyd in this one.

    Your thoughts? :bbb:thumbsup:hat

Mayweather a better quicker boxer, too experienced and Alvarez hasn't got 12round stamina yet

Didn't even know he was fighting last night.

I'm a big Saul Alvarez believer. He is the future big draw marquee man in boxing.

But mayweather now? That's foolish talk

Yeah, I can't see Alvarez winning this fight now. It could look a lot like the four rounds of Mayweather-Ortiz we got.

I think Ortiz would have done better had the fight gone on, but he didn't do a whole lot until the fourth round.

Floyd would take him deep-I dont think Canello has that 12 round stamina yet.

Even if he did, I feel he'd be picked apart.

this is almost as bad as Martinez picking on Mayweather... the dood's a friggin natural Lt. Welterweight for pete's sakes. If they need to be calling out peeps, it should be other titleholders of their weight. Cant be calling out **** when you dont even have a few of the belts of your own weight division...
