Uchiyama is my favorite Japanese boxer. This news come as surprise to me though it might be only an exhibition. He was a solid boxer and a real deal, but the age catched him. I always think he needs a good farewell match, so I think this is good idea. Mayweather probably would win this contest as well, but it won't end up in humiliation like the one he did to Tenshin.
Which 3 were novices? Bertin was a former 2 time world champion so hardly a novice, McGregor was MMA Champion with a great hand striking game and Japanese guy was a kick boxing champion.
They treated the McGregor bout as an actual pro boxing match, yes. But the other one was an exhibition. They sold it as such as well.
Actually the guys name was Berto LOL Wayyyyyyyy past it. The last two were making their pro boxing debut & IV Kid is supposed to be TBE ROFLMAO
Funny thing was that people were saying it was staged. The kid is tiny. Not only is he light, he is quite short for his weight. But I recommend checking Tenshin out. Dude is legit. Just had no business being in there with Floyd. This content is protected
TBE was a marketing ploy. Just like the "Money" nickname. Sure, a lot of people bough into it. TBE... maybe Floyd really was the best ever. Best being his boxing skills, not resume. So him fighting Berto to close out his career at the age of 38 is quite irrelevant to his legacy. It was his farewell fight, so to speak.
