Meldrick Taylor found out the hard way that smaller guys do not belong in the ring with Norris if they can't knock him out. Taylor could not hurt Norris, and couldn't keep him off him.

    Same would happen to Mayweather.

Whitaker was my favorite fighter in the 90's, and a Norris match-up was becoming a possibility. I did not want to see it.

Good insight. I need to see a bit more of Norris, been a while, im gunna find some time to just watch a marathon sometime!

Do we on the classic see it that he was one of the most 'killer' type fighters ever? A real vicious fighter at times?

Norris is not what I would call a power puncher, but he was a strong puncher. He could not hit as hard as say Tszyu at 140, nor Trinidad at 154. I would say he did hit harder than Holyfield at heavyweight, or Mosley at 135. He put his punches together in good combinations, and put some zip on each one. If you did not hit hard enough to get his respect, he could definitely beat you into submission.

Yeah, he certainly looks as though he had killer instinct when he was able to finiish a fight
