You do know what the words "lost" and "properly" mean, don't you?

The first post (and it was not one I responded to, directly), didn't even mention Duran, as if he were to be lumped into the "underdog" category. From then on, it's just his glorification of Mayweather and defense of his record.

So, I really don't see the point of your reply to my post, to be honest.

Anyway, I think Floyd gets tamed by Hearns, if not completely stopped.

I picture Leonard-Mayweather Jr playing out like Leonard-Benitez, minus the kd's (i.e. competitive but clear decision). The Duran from Montreal (as well as the one who defeats Palomino) probably outworks Floyd down the stretch to take the nod on the cards.

Cuevas could be troubled by slippery boxers, like Shields and Price. Espada managed to outbox him for extended stretches in their rematch. So, if Floyd manages to avoid getting caught and taken out early (and I think he's too smart to allow that to happen) he probably assumes control and wins a wide decision.

Curry could trouble FMJ at his best and outwork him. But I think Floyd might be better at minimizing Curry's workrate, so that fight's a bit of a toss up. Eh...Curry from '85 by close decision would be my guess.

I favor Floyd over just about everyone else.

Yes. And that's his opinion. I don't agree with his opinion regarding Duran, but he's welcome to provide it on a discussion forum about boxing.

I still don't understand your point. Are you the Boxing Forum Police or something of that type, with nothing better to do?

Either way, I think you've just crashed in, without understanding the context of the whole conversation.

But, never mind - at least I know where to come if my debating compass goes wobbly, in future.

I've read the thread all the way through. If you think he didn't properly express his view on why Mayweather beats Duran, that's one thing. I think is initial opinion and subsequent arguments were laid out clearly...even if I think they're wrong. Did I have to point that out..? It probably wasn't necessary...But I do think that just because NoNeck has served as the main foil in this thread doesn't mean that his opinion is completely invalidated.

    So sue me.

Jeeee! Seriously? Why would I waste my time suing you?

I prefer a little sport (rod, hook and bait; not grenades, when I go fishing).

Grenades are so much more fun, though. And effective. Plus you get the added bonus of watching fish fly everywhere.

I think he loses to Leonard, Hearns, Benitez and Duran. Curry too. I think he'd beat the rest.

With Emanuel Steward in his corner, McCrory beats Mayweather.

Leonard Hearns Duran are a given in my book.
    Curry 50/50
I have Benitez and Pryor beating him as well
