PBF by brutal KO. Hearns had no chin and although he could punch like mule he wouldnt be able to hit PBF square enough to hurt him.

Bring on the hate, i know but i just dont see Hearns wining that fight

Floyd KO round 1. Hearns is damn near 50 and would have to kill himself to make 147. Floyd would make easy work of him. He's already beat the **** out of one Hitman, might as well make it two.

Brutal KO? No, Floyd has the power to KO Ricky Hatton who has a less than stellar chin at 147, but he couldn't brutally KO Hearns who took flush shots from Marvin Hagler for 3 rounds and took some very hard shots from Sugar Ray Leonard.

Have you taken Hearns' height, reach, skills, jab, right hand, and speed into consideration? Or do you simply believe Floyd is good enough to adjust to Hearns and knock him out?

Or are you just kidding around?

Honestly, the more i see PBF the more i see that he could adjust to any style and not only that but beat his opponent in his own confort zone. He'll beat you inside, outside, sidways - you call it, he'll beat you at your best.

I'll make it easy for you.

Go on youtube and type in Ricky Hatton Highlight, then look at the resumes of the fighters he is knocking out.

After that, go on youtube and type in "Thomas Hearns highlight", and you won't have to look at the resumes of the fighters he was fighting because we all recognise Benitez, Leonard, Hagler, and Duran.

He wouldn't beat Hearns from the outside though. Nobody beats Hearns from the outside. His potshots wouldn't work with Hearns and he sure as hell couldn't win a jabbing contest.

Floyd doesn't have the pressuring skills or the physical strength of Ray Leonard. He would have a hell of a time getting inside and even if he did, he doesn't have the punching power to do what Leonard did to Tommy.

Hearns-Mayweather is basically the worst possible matchup for Floyd. An absolute nightmare to be honest.

Hearns is a stylistic nightmare for Money. PBF is great and may win a few rounds but he gets beaten by wide UD or late round TKO.

That speed, reach, power, straight right, left hook to the body, and jab Hearns possessed would be too much. Hearns by 7th round KO, winning 5-1 coming into the 7th at the time of the stoppage. Floyd is no joke and p4p is better than Hearns in my opinion as much as I hate to say it but he is way too small.

Hopefully you didn't take me seriously. Even the retarted kid that lives down the block from me is smart enough to detect the sarcasm in this post. Seriously though, I don't know how many times someone has made this thread. Tommy Hearns was 23 when he fought his last fight at WW. Floyd was like 28 when he first fought at WW. This is a terrible matchup. Why people continue you to debate this matchup is beyond me.

I think it would be very similar to Hearns-Benitez... The fight was more one-sided than the score indicated, I couldn't give more than 3 rounds to Benitez.

Well, SRL never really figured Hearns out in 2 fights against him.....And Leonard ain't no dumb fighter. He didn't win the 1st fight because of his skills, but because of his underrated punching power and his balls of steel.

Hearns is 6 foot one, that is 5 inches taller than PBF, and has a pistol-like jab that was a key weapon in his offensive arsenal. He had a gigantic 78'' reach!!!! That is 2 inches less than Ali's...for a welterweight, that is huge.
