Floyd has a great chin guys, its not as if he's glass jawed. He can take a punch.

Finally admit your true colors as a hater. So finally we can throw your silly arguments or lack of arguments at all threw the window because you clearly have too much bias to look at this objectively.

I cant wait for Floyd to embarrass Cotto and win a clear decision against Williams. Be hear when that happens dick.

So did Duran, whats your point?

If Hearns connects with the right hand, its light out. And is not a matter of if you have a chin.

That'd be a fight I'd love to see.

And I see it ending with Hearns giving a TKO to PBF in the 10th round. I don't see other than SRR and SRL giving Hearns a lot of trouble at 147

Take a punch. WHEN HAS HE HAD TOO lol?

Who's gotten off a clean shot against him? He's stumbled a few times getting caught off balance but he's never been hurt.

KO Hearns? Why? What would he do to penetrate Floyds defense that nobody today has?

Yes he can. Floyd has a good chin indeed. But Hearns had freakish power...

Floyd hasnt fought anyone as good as Hearns, so why would you take the stance that he couldnt do anything that his opponents couldn't?

And I can answer that for you. Hearns would make Floyd's life hell with his jab and he would end the fight with a right hand. If not, it would be a lopsided decision.

Hearns could very well stop Mayweather and catch him flush. He had the speed and timing to do so and the reach. Floyd would always be in range to be hit. Even on the outside, Floyd would be in range for the end of Hearns shots because he was so damn big.

You need to watch a peak Hearns, he clearly outboxed Benitez who was one of the greatest defensive fighters ever. He gave a peak Leonard hell for 13 rounds, destroyed Duran, and if Marvin's chin was any less than what it was have he might have been KO'd in about the first 20 seconds, when Hearns put him against the ropes.

You havent made one argument yet that even hints at you having any knowledge of boxing.

Atleast others have explained there position, stop blowing everyone elses arguments and present your own.

Floyd impenetrable defense. Hearns awesome power and reach. Does that translate into a knockout or TKO? No. You got a wall to break down there, and nobody has down it in 39 fights. TKO 5? Wow. Clearly has Floyd hasnt swung as many haters as I thought.

    Floyd is the best.....
Hearns had reach fast hands nice jab

It would be a good fight I would have to go with Hearns though SD
I say SD because of his workrate but im not going to sit here and say
Floyd Mayweather can't adjust to whatever Tommy throws at him because i've seen him do it so many times before and who knows if Hearns doesn't knock him out he might be able to time and work Hearns from the inside.

Its a stylistic nightmare. Its not just the power and reach, its the incredibly accurate jab and ablity to box or punch.

Its the fact that PBF will be kept at bay with the jab and his respect for the right hand for the first half of the fight. And then to win it he will have to come to Hearns. Thats where the timing comes in that Brooklyn mentioned on the behalf of Hearns. He would tag Floyd. And if he chose not to come to Hearns to make a comeback on the cards, he would lose a wide decision.

I keep hearing about this supposed adjustment Floyd makes midway through the fight to take him to the win. Problem is, if he is behind midway throught the fight, Hearns will be content to jab the **** out of him from distance. So the only choice Floyd would have would be to come forward and try to slip the jab while working his way in to mount some offense. And there would be hearns right hand, waiting for such a scenario.

    I agree.

I hear what people are saying about Floyds defence, etc. (hey, come on, it was a SD v Oscar, so something must have landed right?).

Point is. Has Floyd ever fought anyone that started as a welter - and could fight at a world title level at light heavy. Of course not.

Your scenario is correct. If Hearns is ahead at the halfway point, then I don't see how Floyd can make up enough rounds.

If Floyd wants to get ahead early, then he has to go to Hearns early on in the fight. That's very dangerous territory.
