    It should be just about time for Said Ouali vs. Carson Jones.

    If it ends early and we're lucky, GBP may be feeling generous enough to squeeze in Butler vs. Clay before the PPV starts.

    Does that mean he can only train world class boxers?

    Maybe Juan is a family friend...or just a kid in his gym whose work ethic and toughness really stood out and made Nacho take a shining to him.

    Freddie Roach and just about every world class trainer ever has worked the corner of some duds and just lower-level lunch-pail guys - even after becoming "successful".

    Prince Said Ouali (prononced "Wally") looks huge next to Jones.

    Jones is grinning eerily at him and seems reluctant to touch gloves.

    Ouali backs up and jabs. Jones slaps a hook up over his gloves on the top of his head. Ouali throws a right to the body. Jones circles quickly to the left and lets out a trickle of deceivingly soft jabs before throwing a hard flurry to the body. Ouali pecks with his right jab and hooks off of it, pushing Jones into the ropes. Nice left hand lead by Ouali. Jones is plugging away with underhand body shots in between circle-steps and high jabs. Ouali walks forward behind a southpaw 1-2-1-2. Nice evenly matched round so far. Jones slaps out another hook across the side of Ouali's head. Short left uppercut by Ouali. Jones slaps him back with a high hook. Body shots by Jones. BIG left hand lead by Ouali is blocked but pushes Jones back. Lead left to the body by Ouali. Right jabs by Ouali as he now backs up to the ropes, baiting Jones and making him walk into a left uppercut. Big combo to the body by Jones, bringing it upstairs. Lead left through the gloves by Ouali, and then a slapping right hook that's almost a rabbit punch.

    Tough round to score.

    Good first round, both fighters fought on relatively even terms. i'll give it to Jones.

    Ouali fights stupid sometimes, this reminds me of his fight with Selcuk Ayden, just doing too much nothing while the opponent moves his hands.
