I was right many months ago when I said floyd would retirte as a top 3 ATG fighter, and as the best fighter in our generation. He has done what no fighter in history has ever done and rather easily I might add. I mean do you guys really think

    1. Hatton--4 time champion/Ring/Lineal *Ko
    2. Hoya--10 time champion/ former Ring Champion
    3. Baldomir--Former Ring/Lineal Champion
    4. Judah--2 time champion/Ring/Lineal
    5. Arturo Gatti--2 time Champion * Ko
    6. Jose Luis Castillo--4 time Champion
    7. Diego Corrales--2 time/Ring/Lineal Cahmpion *Ko
    8. Genaro Hernandez--Former Lineal Champion *Ko

were all easy work.:deal those fighters are the toughest and most skilled fighters of our era and floyd made them all look like they are not on his level:deal

    Floyd is truly the greatest:deal

Money May, in my book, is Top30 and arguably Top25.

He is the greatest fighter of his generation.

To be Top15, he would have to beat Cotto.

I am glad to see that Mayweather finally gets the respect he deserves.

if you'd've just added 'some of' instead 'are' you'd've saved a lot of grief

Good call bro! You've been with PBF from day 1 and finally he's starting to get the respect he deserves.

Still...I think Mayweather needs one more name in his resume. That name is Cotto.

We disagree A LOT bigtime, but I'll be completely honest with you here. Floyd is a SPECIAL fighter. One of the very best I've EVER seen.

Good for him! He's worked hard. I hope he has 2 or 3 more superfights.

you know a guy is desperate when he puts carlos tata baldomir as an accomplishment.

I agree. He is not a notable win for Mayweather. The win over Jesus Chavez, who is a two division beltholder, is better.

However, Baldomir has accomplished more at 147 than Margarito. :rofl

I would agree but cotto does not really impress me. his resume is ok but floyd doesn't need to fight cotto.

it would be fun but let's be honest cotto is not on floyd's level yet. if cotto can clean out the welterdivision and unify those remaining belts then I am right there with you for a floyd cotto fight.

but it must be a fight to prove who is truly the best. and right now a floyd vs cotto fight would not prove that because you have williams and cintron still out there.

I want floyd to fight the best as well. right now I am not convinced cotto is the best he has to beat williams/cintron winner to get me to push for a floyd vs cotto fight.

baldo was considered the man at 147 however briefly and he did defend the title. floyd has defeated 5 former ring champions only sugar ray leonard can come close to that distinction.

    :huh :huh

Cintron beat Mark Suarez. He's nothing. He's a fringe contender. He sucks.

Williams beat Margarito. Very good win.

But Cotto beat Urkal, Quintana, Judah and Mosley....he's CLEARLY the 147 #1 contender. He's better than the rest.
