    Book it.

HE WILL BE THE 1ST MAN TO STOP MAIDANA.

Floyd is due for a knockout and hasn't really had one since 2011.

Marcos Maidana will realize that fighting Floyd Mayweather is 10x different from fighting Broner. Floyd will easily pepper his face up with hard shots right to the button with his laser right hands.

After 9-10 rounds of constant punishment, I believe the referee will step in and call an end to the bout. Floyd Mayweather will throw combos after seeing Maidana fatigued from all of the missing/getting tagged over and over again. He will potshot in the early rounds, and wear Maidana out. Maidana will EASILY be cut here in the early rounds and the accumulated damage will simply be too much for him as the rounds continue.

He cut Hatton, he cut Guerrero. Maidana will be as well.

I believe that Garcia might even stop it himself during the rest period between the 9th-10th round.

Mayweather is coming away with a stoppage here.

    2011?

That was legitimate, protect yourself at all times. :deal

And Ortiz was getting destroyed in there, he would have been knocked out even if that altercation did not occur in the 4th.

wrong, it was Ricky Hatton in 2007

ironically, the only 2 stoppages ( 1 if you rightly discount Floyd's cheapshot vs Victoria Ortiz) Floyd got since Hatton were refereed by none other than... Joe "Protect yourself at all times" Cortez

I actually think after a few rounds Maidana will just 'accept his fate' and focus on not getting stopped himself kind of like a few fighters do.

That's why I wanted to see Khan more than Maidana. Khan will think, 'what the hell I'm gonna lose anyway' and start swinging for the fences like Hatton did, so we get to see a brutal glass shattering. :deal

Not cheap at all, referee signalled for the fight to continue. Ortiz wanted to kiss the man, Floyd wanted to continue fighting

    Completely legit 100%.

    Protect yourself at all times.

    So 2011.

Ortiz wanted to touch gloves, Cortez was facing the other way and Floyd took his shot, similar to the Mosley fight

So how many times does he want to touch gloves and kiss him?

    Too many.

    Referee signalled for the fight.

    Floyd fought, Ortiz daydreamed.

    End of story.

2011 was his last legitimate stoppage. :deal

Cortez was facing the other way, Floyd took a cheap shot, when the ref turned around, Ortiz was lying on the canvas thinking 'wuz happenin'?"

a cheap shot is a cheap shot, even if it gets you a "legitimate" knockout win

Nothing was cheap, referee signalled for the fight to continue way before.

Blame Ortiz for being stupid and not PROTECTING HIMSELF AT ALL TIMES.

He wanted to get a date with Mayweather. Mayweather wanted to fight.

    That's the bottom line.

Any other boxer in their right mind would have reacted to the left hook. Ortiz saw he was getting smacked and took a dive.

there are 3 people here to blame, Ortiz for being too affectionate, Floyd for hitting him with a cheap shot and Cortez for turning around too late and calling that cheap shot a legit KD:deal

I'm not a big Mayweather fan but Ortiz deserved everything he got in 2011. Dirty headbutting ****.
