- Mayweather still has 3 fights contracted with Showtime (Big money involved and make sure Mayweather keeps winning) - Mayweather fighting in Las Vegas. - Mayweather has the judges on his back (Money Money is all what these judges need for them to give it to Mayweather) - In the Maidana, Alvarez or EVEN in the De La Hoya Fight, The judges scored it as a Majority or split decision win for Mayweather so that it would not look bad on Mayweather.
To be fair the judges were in favour of Canelo and de la hoya because they are big Mexican stars. Floyd won those fights imo If mayweather doesn't fight a big Mexican star he will get the benefit of the doubt. 9-3 mayweather vs maidana is ridiculous.
Most of the press had it 7-5 mayweather . But I'm referring more to what rounds two of the judges scored. They both has mayweather 4-2 up after 6 which is ridiculous. And 51% of people on this forum thought mayweather won. Rest said draw or maidana.

oh i agree. effective aggression for some of the fight...he did land quite a bit of body punches. but that's not the reason. you and I know why there's an overly large percentage of posters on BN24 that thinks Floyd lost.
your probably right but you never no. there is some legit comp out there. like keith thurman for example.
The fight was a toss up. People oohing and ahhing after floyd would land 2 or 3 good punches was good enough in the judges eyes to give him the round even though he was getting pounded on the ropes or getting his head snapped back from the jab for about 2 min of each round for half the fight. Fight shouldve been a draw. there was no clear winner in this fight. there should be a rematch but from the way floyd is talking it might not happen because he might retire.
