I am the first to admit that recently my boxing predictions have been a little off. Before the last 3 PACMAN fights I had 9 correct predictions in superfights. with 2 wrong i believe.

But in the last 3 pacman fights i have bet against him everytime.

I thought DLH would be too big

I thought hatton would bully him at 140 lbs argueably his best weight.

And i thought that Cotto would have FAR too much power for pacman.

However Pacman continues to prove me wrong. But one thing i do not doubt is that Floyd Mayweather would stop Pacquaio in the late rounds.

Mayweather is far too accurate and far too disciplined to lose this fight. On saturday night the main thing i noticed, other then the fact that pacquaio is a fantastic fighter, is that Pacman does make mistakes and had cotto been more disciplined, he could have exploited them.

Mayweather has that discipline. He will be harder to hit then anyone pacman has thought. Mayweather will fight similiar to Juan Manuel Marquez, he will slip and counter punch and make like difficult for PACMAN. Juan Manuel Marquez is argueably the only person pacman has really struggled with in a winning performance. Mayweather can fight the same way. Only more effectively with more power and more accuracy.

I see the fight playing out one way.

Pacman has success in the early rounds winning rounds with his agression and come forward style, without really hurting mayweather.

as the fight wears on Pacman will become increasingly frustrated with the lack of success hes getting and the lack of meaningful shots hes landing. He will start lunging in, and mayweather will land perfectly timed counter punches. like he did against Hatton.

Mayweather will win this fight in no more then 10 rounds.

Erm. Floyd didn't stop Marquez, even with an additional (unfair) weight advantage! What the hell makes you think he'll stop Manny?

Floyd could have stopped Marquez anywhere from the 4th round on...he carried him for the majority of the fight

Yeah, Floyd had the beating of Marquez in the second. If he'd actually put combinations together, he'd have flattened him pretty quick.

Floyd isn't as heavy handed as Cotto, but he is the sharper puncher, and much better with his punch placement.

He either stops him late or ud's him. I think it will be a lot easier than people think as well.

    Floyd NEVER knocks out Pacquiao!

Pacquiao, since moving up in weight recently to light welter/welter has kept all his speed and doubled his strength, power and punch resistance!

One thing I noticed the other night was how punches that caught Manny clean and sometimes even off balance that would put even a pretty strong welterweight down.... Manny just walked through like they were nothing and then punished Cotto for it.

Manny will get caught by Mayweather, yes.... but knocked out? Never!

How many said no way PBF knocks out Hatton though. I know it is completely different but it was seen as not possible prior to the fight.

He is not going one hit him but if he can catch him clean often then the ref will jump in.

Floyd hates fighters who force him on to the back foot. Therefore Manny's style is all wrong for him.

Manny will win by 11th rnd KO.

  12. I've given up predicting fights.

    It's a good job I don't gamble.

You really didn't need to start a new thread for this, you attention *****.

Anyway, Floyd does not engage his opponents, ever. It's conceivable Floyd would lose a decision simply by being too negative. Also, Floyd didn't KO JMM and Cotto never came close to kayoing Manny. I'd be amazed if Floyd managed to KO Pac.

Floyd could have KO'd Marquez from the second onwards. The reason he didn't is because of the weight.......

He KO's Juan, everybody dismisses it "Floyd was far too big AND came in overweight
He Schools Juan, everybody talks about how he makes the man who 'beat' Pacquiao look close to ordinary.

Floyds very very clever in the way he approaches fights. Floyd only came back for an ego boost. The way Pacquiao has gone about his business and garnered so much support and admiration will annoy the hell out of Floyd. If they fight I expect to see him blow Pacquiao out of the water and totally stun the boxing world
