Now we all had this debate when it comes to who's era was better and who would survive in the others era. I have the most respect for the boxing legends and even though I think some of the new era fighters are more skillful, I would never disrespect the legends because they dedicated their lives to boxing for our entertainment.

Many believe that Floyd Mayweather would not have survived or at least been undefeated in the era of the Great Sugar Ray Robinson but I believe the exact opposite. Now there's no question that SRR would have been dominate in today's era because I think he would've dominated on his jab alone, but Floyd Mayweather's style would've been just as dominate and I believe that for one reason....and that's because of a fighter named

The vid of floyds defense is just unbeleivable

  4. Floyd would do well in any era I think, but I dont think he would be undefeated, I aslo dont think he would be undefeated if he had fought all the challenges that were available from 05-10, also the rounds were longer back then, fights were rougher and they fought more often I dont know if floyd could handle that. But he does have the skills to do well in any era.

Round 5 of Mayweather-N'dou is one of my favourite rounds ever.

The best mix of offense and defense I've seen from Mayweather.

In all of Floyd's biggest challenges he has come out on top, now i think he is more of a reserved fighter but look for good he is as a reserved fighter...just imagine how much better he would be giving a fighter his all

Mayweather would have racked up a ton of wins in Sugar Ray's era. Would he be undefeated? no, but if he fought the similar schedule of guys that are Arturo Gatti at best for 90% of his fights and the rest against elites he would definitely win 180(barring the Mafia getting involved) out of 200 fights and probably 190.

He wouldn't have been just as dominant unless he ducked Sugar Ray Robinson.

    That is a fact.

The only thing that would hurt Floyd iin fighting back then was his multiple injuries especially his hand
