Floyd Mayweather Jr. would've been just as dominant in Sugar Ray Robinson's era

Really. I could use countless examples of fighters from different eras who employed the shoulder roll defense with much less positive results as well.

He lacks the chin, power, offensive arsenal, tenacity, etc... that robinson had. So, no Mayweather could not have beaten Robinson. To test this put Robinson in the Leonard/Hearns/Duran era and you will have him on top. Substitute Mayweather in there and it's likely that he would come out somewhere near the bottom. I don't see him beating Leonard or Hearns and possibly not Duran either.

If you offered Floyd the right money he would fight anybody in that era and he has the skills to beat anybody though I could see some of them beating him. But if you try to screw him over like Arum tried to then no you wouldn't see those fights.

No way Mayweather's hands hold up for the schedule that old timers kept. Also, using Nicolino Locche as an example as to why Floyd could succeed in Ray Robinson's era is stupid in so many levels. Yes he used a shoulder roll, he also fought half of Argentina's taxi union.

So would lebron-kobe-shaq-duncan-MJ etc would be dominant in wilt's and russell era.

We all know ahtletes gets better. 20-30 years from now the # 1 p4p in that era would probably dominate this era.
