i dont disagree 100% with what you said and the video, all I'm going to say is a lot of fighters work on stuff they are bad at while sparring. Ali let Holmes beat him around the ring before fighting foreman.

People don't know how floyd spars before fights because its not allowed to be taped... this is one of the only sparrin videos of floyd you will see

thats because it was spada preparing for a fight and not floyd. i've explained above how a fighter's mental appraoch to training differs depending if he's preparing for a fighting or just sparring with the guy who is.

urm, someone to resemble Pacman in sparring, good question.

I could only name a handful of Southpaws but maybe Judah but I think there may be someone closer to his style than that...

A bigger version of Juan Manuel Lopez Maybe...or what about a Victor Ortiz

I cant wait to see what happens... i mean imagine if we get
    manny vs pac
    manny/pac vs floyd
    margarito vs shane
    paul vs winky
    dawson vs tarver II
    cotto vs marg II
    berto vs collazo

all in the same year...... looks good to me

Yep. Thats how I been thinking about it lately. Margarito came in and really messed up Floyd's plans, cause Floyd would've fought Cotto after he beat Margarito. If Cotto couldnt get a fight with DLH, PWill, or a rematch w/Shane Mosley after beating AM, I think Floyyd would've stepped in the picture and offered to fight Cotto @ the end of 2008, that would've been big. But now that AM messed up those plans... As we speak, AM isn't as big of a draw as Cotto was when he was undefeated. AM is still building a fan base, and I think defeating SSM will defeinetely boost him, and if he KO's SSM then I think he will be as big as Cotto was when he still had his 0. If he gets Cotto out of there within 10 in their rematch, then that'll help him a little bit, but if it goes to 11 or 12, than that really wont help him out much. The reason a win over Cotto wont really help him out much is because he already crushed Cotto for one, but the biggest reason is the fact that between the Cotto vs AM I & Cotto vs AM II, Miguel did nothing but beat a part time drummer/boxer named Jennings, Miguel didnt boost his name up or earn a rematch, he had the rematch given to him. So if AM beats Cotto in the rematch, if PBF doesnt see that as a reason to come out and face him, than PBF just wont be coming out of retirement to face him period, because the only other thing Margo can do is beat PWill, and PWill still isn't that popular. But now lets talk about Pac & Hatton... Pac vs PBF is very big at the moment, but it will be even bigger if Pac defeats Hatton, especially if he can beat Hatton within 10 just like PBF did. PBF vs Pac after Pac beats Hatton will be even bigger than the plans he had for Cotto. PBF is taking a risk, but it will pay off if everything goes as planned. But if Hatton beats Pac, then PBF fighting Hatton in the UK will be as big as PBF fighting AM, and I'm not sure if PBF will even want that.
