...what are his top 5 victories?

What do you think of his resume overall?

My main argument against him has been his resume. Consistently ducked the best fighters. Best win was against Corrales, although i believe Corrales is hugely overrated. I believe Mayweather lost to Castillo in their first fight as well

Overall hes achieved not a lot.

History wont foget him, but it will be unkind to him over the years when you think that this kid compared himself to SRL and SRR. Those guys dont know the meaning of the word duck and took on the best their divisions and surrounding ones had to offer.

People can argue that FMJ was the best of the best in his original weight class, but look at his body type, with his height their was no way he was ever going to stay there and HAD to move up. When he did his opposition became extremely poor when you think that half the people he never fought he would have probably beaten anyway.

His resume is solid, but it's a far cry from getting him the plaudits he feels he deserves. Baldomir was simply unforgivable

Needed a couple more wins over great opposition to really have an outstanding alltime resume. But Mayweather is a Top30 of all time, imo.

From jr welterweight and below it was pretty good. He beat Diego Corrales-Jose Luis Castillo-Jesus Chavez-Arturo Gatti etc etc

Welterweight and above not so good. The 3 welterweight he beat are zab judah-carlos baldomir and Ricky Hatton. He beat Oscar delahoya at 154 lbs. He needs to fight and beat at least 2 of the 4 fighters(Cotto-Margarito-Mosley-Williams) to help his legacy. If he stay retired then his legacy will always be questioned.

He has an opportunity to enhance his legacy massively if he came back and fought a couple of the top guys in the stacked 147lbs division.IMO,he beats Cotto,Margarito,Berto,Williams(even at 154,toughest of the lot though),Pac and Mosley. He wouldn't get much credit for beating Hatton in a rematch.

Almost same as me. I hesitated between Hatton and Judah but figured that since Hatton was, unbeaten, and a Tszyu beater...

His resume lacks depth and it's all flashy

    No REAL opposition

    Just paper accomplishments.

I think that may be too much to ask. This is not an up and comer we are talking about here. By the time he fought all those guys he would be like somewhere around 34. The same age that pernell whitikar, julio ceasar chavez, felix trinidad, ODLH etc were all considered shot to **** and shells of their former selves.
