Greatest of all-time at 130, no where near top 5 at 135 though, top 35 p4p of all-time.

    I agree.

As an Anglo Aussie I believe I'm as objective as anyone when it comes to international fighters and it's obvious to me that there's plenty of clowns that post on ESB that can't see Floyd's greatness through their emotional bias.

PBF is P4P No.2 in the modern era only behind the great RJJ. Top 20 P4P all time.

What's even more insane is that the majority of these "Mayweather haters" will rave on about the greatness of Joe Calzaghe, who fought a host of protected species (as well as being one himself thanks to his "promoter" and increasingly wealthy team) and has never fought the calibre of opposition that PBF has.

Floyd was a champion at 130lbs before going on to beat Hatton and Judah at 147 and Dela Hoya at 154 !!!

What was Calzaghe's defining moment? Kessler or the 43 year old Hopkins ???

    Get off the pipe peoples...

Top 130 Fighter ever. Didnt establish himself at the higher weights to be ranked there but did fight some quality opponents. Top 30 P4P for me.

My question mark over ranking Floyd top of the 130 is was he ranked there when he left the division?

I dont think so, and for that reason I cant rank him there now. P4P his acheivements have gone on to be outstanding but to rank him top of the pile at 130, dont think I can. I havent ranked him in that division yet, so that can be my homework overnight, but I really cant put him top of the shop given that he wasnt top of the pile when he moved up and has done nothing at the weight since!

I don't think duran kills Floyd. Yes I believe he beats him, but not kills him. I don't see anyone killing Floyd -- he is too good of a boxer, his defense would not allow that. I believe Floyd has a chance to beat him, in all honesty. But I would favor Duran on account of Floyd's first fight with Castillo, one I believe he won. But I have to think about Esteban de jesus. Floyd is a much better fighter than him and has a quicker, better left hook. But again I favor Duran.

130 he fought everyone, dominated in great fashion. I was a big fan of his back then. People were all talking about Zab Judah at the time, I knew better.

He is to 130 what RJJ is the 168 -- Period

Its not all about the resume ... he's as complete of a fighter as you'll find ... you never seen him with more than a bloody lip after a fight.

Every decision he won was unanimous ...

He's never came close to losing a fight ... he's like Tiger Woods, Roger Feder, and Kobe Bryant ... leaders of the new school ...

Those guys are being considered the greatest in their respective fields during their generations ... and once its all said and done they will be.

Floyd is no different ... look at the way he fought ... look at precise he was (not talking about compubox) ... his accurracy ... his movements ...

I know its not all about resume, but the resume is an important factor. As good as he looked (and I am not disputing that at all, technically the best I've seen with my own two eyes), he could have increased his legend with similar performances against more opposition.

As I say, he's in my top 40 all time list, but I cant put him near the top 5
