That's what makes the Pac fight even better when studying it (even if it wasn't the most exciting fight), Pac was picking up on what Floyd was doing, so Floyd had to switch his game up a few times to keep him guessing and hesitate.
I don't think Floyd could pressure a world class mover for a whole fight, just not his style, but when he comes forward in bursts or at a steady pace, it can really surprise opponents. He came forward most of the Judah and Mosley fights, and would surprise Maidana and Pacquiao by suddenly switching it up and going on the attack. Which was particularly effective because those last two don't have backfoot skills.
I don’t see that ,I think he’s just more athletic and wins with fast movement of feet and hand . Highest ring IQ is a stretch,I think his family just plans out a strategy and sticks with it .
No way Floyd is an adaptable fighter and it didn`t ever come from anything his corner said, he was a far smarter fighter than Roger or Floyd Sr and it`s not even close, however I feel Loma is more skilled offensively than Floyd was.
Awesome video man. I never noticed the adjustment he made with Mosley beating him to the punch before the jab to body.
Any adjustments from other fights I missed? If there are enough I might do a sequel.. Thanks dude. That in particular is one of my favorites. At the time I didn't realize it at all.
I think once had Hatton beat up and hurt he really went for it. I included including Hatton in the adjustments, I think he had trouble with Hatton's footspeed in the middle of the ring and decided to just lay on the ropes and fight him more efficiently there.
