Well, I was born and raised in STL. My family history, ethnically and nationally is pretty complicated and getting into it is a pain in the ass, so there you go.

I'm not a pinoy, if that's what you're wondering

yea for sure, i'm going to see him @ the savvis center on fight night. as a hometown fighter, can't help but love his talent. we havent had a fighter with as much potential as devon since michael spinks for real, and i'm excited to see what he can do. As far as pure athleticism goes he's probably got the most goods of anyone at 140. As far as his boxing goes, if he can mend the holes in his technique he can have an incredible career. too early to say where he will be in a couple years, but i'm excited to see.

Man....can someone explain to me Mayeather and who is promoter is? What's his relationship with GBP? What is Mayweather promotions? What does signing with Don King mean for his future?

Am I right in that he works with GBP on a co-promotion basis and he's signed under no promoter?

    Not that big a deal.

How many fighters are under Cotto and Mayweather promotions?
    Which are on the rise?

Now add that with Don King's stable, see a difference?

    didnt think so.

Maybe Mayweather is using the De la Hoya/GBP formula?

Start your own Promotion company while you're on top. Team up with a savy business partner in King and another top prize fighter in Cotto. Then, start to attract new talent and other name fighters.

Why should Top Rank and GBP rule as the top two promotional outfits go unchallenged?
