Go back and review the facts and come back and discuss the matter when you actually have some knowledge. Floyd retired once huh? You can't be taken seriously.

This should clear up Floyd's illegal IV. How many other times through out his career did he need an illegal IV to rehydrate?

This is not even worth a response, but i will give u some satisfaction. Yes, he retired once after beating Hatton. If u counting when he fought McGregor and then an exhibition with the Asian, then u have no clue.

    Floyd the better P4P.

    No debate there.

In 30 years time everyone will still be watching Tyson knockouts and training videos, doubt the same will be said of Mayweather

FM has the cash and perfect record in his class, but Mike entertained me more. Mike will be remembered a lot more 50 years from now and that counts as legacy with the public if not the purists.

On paper, Floyd's wins in every category.
He beat much better competition for a much longer period.

But no other fighter besides may be cassius clay was as big of a superstar as Tyson was. Not even floyd

you got it. Floyd was a contruction and had good skills, but Mike was what boxing was all about. Floyd focused on money more as the goal and used that as his calling card. Mike was about a tough style against bigger guys and what happens when the focus even slips a little and other things get involved.

He has retired 4-5 times throughout his career as I stated and is planning on coming out of retirement once again in 2020. Didn't he retire after winning a close split decision with De La Hoya and again after Hatton only to return and cheat Marquez on the scales who he fought two weight classes above at the time?

Who had better boxing career? Floyd. He used his boxing potential fully, unlike Mike (who was probably the most talented HW of all time).

Who has bigger legacy in sports? If it's about being popular and iconic figure, it's Mike Tyson light years above Floyd.

People in US don't realise the level of popularity of these two outside of US.

In Europe, both Eastern and Western only boxing fans know who Floyd Mayweather is. Floyd isn't recognized by casual people on the street, they just don't know who this guy is. And they have never heard of him.

Mike Tyson, on another hand... I still have to meet a single person who doesn't know Mike Tyson or doesn't now how he looks. Mike Tyson is recognized by anyone, literally. Like Muhammad Ali, and both Tyson and Ali are far, FAR more poplular and iconic sports figures than Floyd Mayweather. They are like Michael Jordan in boxing (the level of popularity which Floyd would've never ever could've dreamt of).

That's not completely true. Mayweather didn't become more focused on money until toward the later half of his career as Money Mayweather in which he was entitle too. Most fighters do that, but just wasn't as successful as him. That's the name of the game. establish yourself as a top fighter and make it to the top and finally get paid for it. Mayweather has always been dedicated to the sport. He changed the game by bringing more attention to the sport. As Pretty Boy Floyd, Mayweather established a name for himself and his legacy as a p4p boxer. As Money May, he established himself as not only a boxer, but a business man as well by making almost a billion dollars in boxing, which may never been done again. When u think boxing, Mayweather skills, hard work and dedication is what boxing is all about. Both men are legends and have majorly contributed to the sport.

Are u crazy? Mayweather has way more exposure today than Tyson ever had. Mayweather is more recognized today than Tyson, especially outside of America. So stop the non sense because they are both well recognized in the sport of boxing. Mayweather and Pac was the face of this boxing era. Yes, Micheal Jordan like! When Tyson was prime, he had his moment as the face of boxing. So u sound crazy saying Mayweather would never reach that status, when he has surpassed that status lol. The hate for Mayweather is real lol smh.
