Name some of the fighters that FM could have fought in his career & if he would have won against them.

The only two which really bug me, curiously, are two guys who he actually did fight in the end. He just should have fought the pair of them earlier, definitely in one case anyhow.

The Pacquiao fight not happening when it should have done, in 2010, is a huge mark against Mayweather (neither were blameless, but I put much more of the blame at Mayweather's door - though that's for another day). The other one, as you've probably guessed, is Cotto around 2008. That would have been a tremendous win for Mayweather and taking Cotto's '0' really would have been a brilliant feather in his cap. Cotto was pound for pound top five, in the same division and held a title to make it a Welterweight unification. Floyd did himself out of some legacy points there, as he'd have almost certainly won, perhaps easier than he eventually did in 2012, and would have got a lot more respect and admiration from the fans and pundits for it - albeit probably not quite as many dollars.

All the other names thrown at Mayweather when it comes to the accusations of 'ducking' are all much of muchness, really, and just examples of an annoying trend with modern fans which thinks 'around in same era but didn't fight = ducked'. Spadafora, Tszyu, Margarito, Williams, Lara etc. If he had have fought (and probably beat) those guys, the same people calling him a serial ducker would just have complained that he'd ducked Castillo, Hatton, Baldomir, Canelo etc. instead.
