Irony.... I just got bigger, stonger, the older I got paraphrasing Roger Clemens. Kinda reminds me of Fluid.
It would seem with all this plotting and maneuvering to get the right fights at the right times and make hundreds of millions of dollars, that FM is an absolute genius! He was able to calculate every move, use illegal drugs and trick fans for almost 20 years! The sport has been around for over 100 years and he was the first to manipulate the boxing system will the skill of a surgeon and the finesse of a seasoned business man, all done without knowing how to read! Pure genius! I can see why you hate the man! He's half as educated, countless times more popular, successful and wealthier than you!
Ricky Hatton needs his size and weight advantages otherwise he's no way near as impressive. Ricky needs to be the big bully. This video should put into perspective just how WAR TORN and past it Manny Pacquiao actually was in May 2015. Manny was at his best in the 2000's and the fights with Cotto and Margarito were gruelling and ended his prime. In the lower weight classes, his speed, power, strength, size, athleticism, rawness were echelons above the 2015 version. This difference was far greater than Mayweather's when comparing Mayweather's 130 days to 147 (2015). How pathetic of anyone to suggest that MayPac 2015 had any real meaning! How pathetic! Woe to you! This content is protected
Pac from the Cotto fight vs Floyd from the Mosley fight would have been epic! Floyd imo still wins, but that version of Manny would have had the best shot at beating Floyd, no doubt! And Both were past their best when they eventually fought, so let's not put all the blame on Floyd here. They both contributed to the fight not happening when it should have happened, period.
The blame was more on Floyd for turning away from the fight after Pac eventually agreed to the pay and the testing. That was inexcusable regardless of what happened before it, period. But either way, yes Floyd was past prime at 2015, but Pac was in far, far worse condition. Semi-shot.
"Eventually" is the keyword! Pac and roach declined testing for the fight in 2010, when it absolutely made the most sense. That was inexcusable, period And Was DEFINITELY What Brought On Floyd's PED claim afterwards! What happened after that had to do mostly with the promoters., and Top Rank and GBP not wanting to do buisness together AKA "The Cold War!"
I don't disagree there, Manny being scared of needles sounds weird, it may be true though. I'm not going to make a judgement there. Either way, that's one thing. So I will repost what I just wrote because it doesn't take from the fact that Floyd pulled out when things got serious: The blame was more on Floyd for turning away from the fight after Pac eventually agreed to the pay and the testing. That was inexcusable regardless of what happened before it, period. But either way, yes Floyd was past prime at 2015, but Pac was in far, far worse condition. Semi-shot.
It had plenty of meaning don't cry now because after all the hype you fed and bought into Pac was made to look like a amateur against a master in PBF which would have happened at any time in their careers. When everyone who knew boxing already knew PBF was always a bad match up for Pac. Like I always said you don't go life and death with JMM for 4 fights and beat PBF period.
Wrong again and even Roach has admitted it was their fault the fight didn't happen the first time. But I guess you know more and have more credibility than Roach right? LMFAO 2:30 in this video Roach admits it was their fault read it and weep This content is protected
So what are you saying really? That Floyd had more talent to avoid the punishing flights that blighted Manny's face-first career and that was evident when they finally met in 2015 -when Floyd's greater abilities which saved him from a grueling career shone out once they finally met well past their primes? And that Mayweather relied less on physical prowess to keep his A-game for longer, and that became clear once they shared a ring? I tend to agree...
Of course. He had just been semi killed by the Great man on my avatar. He even had a cheating weasel trying to awaken him with smelling salts (which no one ever seems to talk about) But theres no getting up from a ten year pent up frustration Marquez hook
Floyd is highly respected by his peers. To me that says a lot. Really, that says it all. Floyd took control of his career. He was able to do that because 1. He surrounded himself with shrewd businessmen. 2. He was a supremely talented boxer. By taking control of his career, he wanted to make the most amount of money possible and not end up war torn and semi-shot at the end of his career. Could he have fought more dangerous opponents? Without a doubt. By doing so, would he made more money? Heck no. Here's the deal. He took control of his own career. He didn't need Bob or Oscar or whoever. He looked out for his own best interests. In a sport where men literally try their hardest to beat you until you can't stand, you can't ask him to do otherwise. For him to go against his own best interest would be the height of idiocy.
