    Give what up

Pacquiao is still the most competitive fight for Floyd out there, he was before the Canelo fight and still is. Floyd fans should want this fight

but if it happened now people will say its 3 years too late and then when Floyd beats Pac all the Pac fans will say that he wouldnt have beat him if the fight happened 2-3 years back

those fights werent talked about in the same way as Floyd v Pac, 3 years ago it would have been the biggest match ever, now its just destined to be debated by blokes in the pub until last orders

    its never going to happen

Golovkin is not a bad shout if the weight coud be agreed. Garcia looks the best option out there from a fans point of view but i cant see him doing anything different to Alvarez.

It needs to be someone super quick who's going to keep coming at FMJr. Someone who isn't going to stand in the middle of the ring and trade with him (second best) Someone who is going to stalk him and drag him into a war and prevent him from running, skipping, ducking and shoulder rolling....... All what he does very very well....

I can't see who that man is.......I can't see FMJr getting beat...... Procession after procession.

Pac is not good enough!!!! Never was. He had a few good wins and everyone was jumping up and down! He is a blown up featherweight who beat up a defensively poor Hatton, a shot Del la hoya, a punchbag in Clottey and don't get me started about the Marquez debacle. He may well have been the closest to FMJr for a while but as for beating him........Give Over :huh

No one in that list has a chance

For it to be even remotely competitive, its gotta be Golovkin :deal

I can not believe 46 people voted fro Pac.
1st the fight has zero chance of being made.
2nd it is a total mismatch.
Why would Floyd take a fight that he would only get criticized if he wins.
The manny fans would say Floyd was picking on him while he was down, coming off KO loss and he is much smaller and so on and so on..........
Why is it so hard to accept the fact that this fight will never happen?
And even harder for people to accept that it would not be a good fight.
Manny can not even handle JMM who is a great counter puncher but surley not as good as Floyd. It seems to me that the *******s would not want to see their hero made a fool of?

I have a feeling he fights Khan next and that Pacquiao will be one if his last fights depending on how he bounces back from those losses.

    I vote Garcia.

I don't think he'll win, but he probably wouldn't try the 'pressure pressure pressure' approach. Hell, with his counter punching and timing he might be closer to someone like Judah then he is to Canelo.

He's earned his shot, Angel and Sr. would have non-sensical rambling arguments and then Danny would take a beating for about 12 rounds. But, again at least he'd present a different look then the 'Castillo / De la Hoya (non) blueprint"

I really hope that KO didn't take much (if anything,) out of Pacman. If he ends up dominating Rios and than possibly takes on the winner of JMM/Bradley and wins that one decisively, than the hype for the potential matchup with Floyd would truly build up nicely for next September.

I thought Pacman looked great in his last fight, albeit he got knocked out cold. If he looks that good against Rios, I don't think that fight will last more than 4-5 rounds tops.

I do still live in dreamland and was one of those who voted Pacquaio.

I think people forget that while it's true that Mayweather has a stylistic advantage over Pacquaio, Pacquaio has a lot that other potential opponents don't have that could trouble Mayweather: handspeed to match him, fast feet, stamina (a big factor against Mayweather I think), decent power, good chin (hopefully still) and unorthadox angles. JMM is a different kind of counter puncher than Mayweather in that he often throws with his opponent in exchanges.

Plus, the fact that Pacquaio is the other standout ATG of the generation and that it would enhance Mayweather's resume if Floyd were to win (which he would be favourite to), it's understandable why we want to see this fight still, even if it is dead in the water.

Out of the other opponents, I'd obviously like to see him against GGG because it'd probably be his biggest challenge. Danny Garcia probably 'earned' the fight and is most likely next but I don't think he has anything to trouble Mayweather with. Khan if he beats Alexander would be fun for a while with Khan's handspeed against a possibly aging Floyd: I think Khan would ironically stand a relatively decent chance against Mayweather if he could avoid getting KO'd.

So basically my order of preference

    1. Pacquaio
    2. GGG
    3. Khan
