What is the truth.. Is after Floyd beat them. Cotto won the lineal MW championship. Jmm slept Pac. Those things are unquestionable. Show me where prime Cotto accomplished anything close to that and we'll agree that Cotto wasn't prime. Cotto with Roach has looked better than ever.

You can garbage that firt paragraph.

Second, to say that Floyd has not shown grit and asking me to cite examples is borderline re****ed. And to ask that it be on par with Ali Frazier 3 shows your pathetic outlook on the true grit of any fighter.

And bitterness...why would you even name Pac as an example? Oh, my bad...Floyd is to blame for the fight being 5 years too late lol. And other fighters facing bigger challenges than Floyd is saying what about Floyd? You did mention consistently. That list isn't long lol.

And your last paragraph...garbage that as well.

    :tired

It's just amazing how he was able to dictate everything to his favor. Boxing is already a corrupt sport but having judges, referees, ring size, catch weight, etc... in his favor, wow.

He was one of the best at promoting his fights. His antics made people either love or hate him and were willing to buy his boring fights.
He was extremely low risk and rarely went forward. He really lost the first Castillo fight and the first Maidana fight I thought he lost.

I cannot deny his incredible stamina, mental toughness, and quick hands. He never got winded, always tired and frustrated his opponents.

As I initially suspected, you are a moron, with a serious lacking in English Comprehension and Communication skills. Go back to school and learn to read, understand and write.

And, forget about Boxing, you really don't have a clue. Your repeating of the same old FMJ Fan-Boy BS, without any knowledge of facts to support your sweeping statements is quite obvious.

I very much doubt you will understand the above but at least I tried. :hi:

What colour are you? Let me guess. GGG is popular because his style and skills are unmatched by anybody and he's walking over opposition something Floyd is lacking e.g Berto was there to be kod and floyd just lacks the ability to put a third rate fighter away.

Fight Pac when it counted and he would have had a win over a prime ATG. Even before they fought Pac had secured his place as an ATG, he was prime when he was crushing Hatton and Cotto, the fight could have happened then, he wasn't green and he wasn't past it.

But Mayweather waited until Pac was KO'ed, both their PPV numbers had dropped and Pac was no longer in a position to demand such a large split. A great business decision from Mayweather, but being TBE money maker in boxing doesn't make you the TBE boxer.

The whole idea you can't fight an ATG at their peak is false. Sure they may not be regarded an ATG at the time but if a fighter fights the best available then you will face an ATG at their peak, win or lose. Ali fought peak Frazier in the fight of the century, then peak Foreman, Duran fought peak Leonard, as did Hearns, Toney fought peak RJJ, the list goes on. Mayweather made calculated career choices and that has left him with a resume weaker than it could have been. But that seems to be the way of things in this current era, few take the chances they could.

But you can't deny Mayweather greatness despite this. I have him top 30 ATG, had he beaten Pac when it counted and fought a few others that he didn't then I'd have him at least top 20, maybe even knocking on top 10, he had the talent just not the will.

Manny circa 2010 was an ATG.

Martinez around that time was, too.

Baffles me how Floyd fought through THREE different decades and went NINETEEN YEARS with no losses over FORTY NINE fights and SIX DIVISIONS yet never fought ONE ATG in their prime at their optimal weight.

But, you, being a green May fan, will no doubt spout some statistics off.

Yep, undeniably the best of this generation. He will be missed but i'm a little happy he's retiring now because all the fighters in his division would be fighting each other now and not waiting for the Mayweather sweepstakes

Who the **** cares about his issues outside the ring? Do you care about a chef's ability to sing or his cooking skills? Same **** here.
