No no Floyd...I was hoping you will be the same when you finally face Pacquiao, like you were to Hatton.

I agree. I could care less what he does or says outside the ring, I enjoy the technical skills that he displays INSIDE the ring. But the fact is people believe that he is this egotistical ******* because that's the image he uses in order to promote fights. I for one hope he continues to leave the Mike Tyson act behind let his talent sell the fights.:good

Just read a Hopkins interview and they asked him why he started that mess with Mosley and he brought up how MW forgets how he pulled a Kanye West a few yrs back at a Corey Spinks press cofrenc after he beat Judah ..

yeah, i read that too....but floyd is always fronting.....he called gatti a c+ fighter before that fight, and then afterwards he said i only said that to sell-tickets.....he said hatton should be lucky i gave him a payday, and then after the fight he said hatton was the most relentless fighter he ever faced......floyd in an interview was asked about kayne, and said it made him get publicity didn't it?.......floyd is salesman for fights, and showman in the ring.....and IMO seems like a decent a human-being...

Except that what Hops said is not true.

Floyd did not get in the ring or participate in any post fight interviews. Neither in the ring or at the press conference. He didnt interfere with anything Spinks said at any point whatsoever, didnt beg for a fight, and didnt participate in any trash talk through the media.

He just basically sat the podium and that was about it.

I have followed Floyds career from the start, and I recall a point were after he beat Hernandez he got booed, I saw real hurt in that kids eyes he was only 20 at the time. It was at that point that he went from being a very respectful kid to somewhat of a loudmouth. I never really thought that it was the REAL floyd...Then just last few weeks while watching 24/7 I saw the way that Floyd talked about his father and his illiness, I think that Floyd Jr knows that Sr is on limited time. For anyone that has ever been in a situation were you knew that you father has a limited times it tend to change the way that you look at thing. I myself went though that very thing, it changed my life forever, it put all things important in the light and those that are truely meaningless in a hole. At the end of the day onces your gone know one remembers what kind of car you drove, they only remember how you were to them.

As far as the whole IRS thing, I think it was all overblown, if it was that serious he would have never walked away from the for sure 25 mill that he could have got to fight Oscar that could have gone as high as 40 million.

He realized the novelty of him being hated was over shadowing his skills in the ring. Plus he has to keep detractors off of his back after his bad selection of marquez. His next fight is going to be huge though.

Floyd has always been very likable when he doesn't act like a douche. However, he REALLY has to stop wearing those hats. Looked like he was a character on Fat Albert for ****'s sake.
