Threat? I think James Kirkland could potentially stop Canelo, I don't think Floyd will do that. Floyd is and will always be the better boxer than James, however.
I love Kirkland and he's much bigger & stronger than Floyd but no way does he pose a better threat than the #1 fighter in the world. If you got KO by Ishida and go life & death with Molina then you in no way pose a bigger threat than Floyd does
Good point . This is pretty much Floyds slick master boxing skills vs . Kirklands high volume power punching relentless style . I think an argument could be made for either side .

Go life and death with Molina? Molina is one of the most underrated fighters in boxing today. He will give anybody a tough fight at 154, Floyd included IMAO.
Kirkland, due to his heavy hands, could pose a big problem for Canelo, however, his terrible chin cancels out any threat he poses to Canelo, so it's Floyd who is the better boxer and defensive mastermind
