I think this would have been a interesting fight...Floyd might have had the upper hand in defense but i give the hand speed advantage to sugar. he threw more puches and better combonations.. I take Sugar by split decision...

    Floyd's prime was 130, imo.

Putting him against a ATG 155 pounder is unfair.

SRL beats Floyd at 147, let alone 154/155.

A better match-up is a p4p match, where SRL probably still takes it.

I don't get it? Why are you starting a thread about a fight between these two at 155 lbs.? That's not even a real weight class and is higher than any weight Floyd has ever fought.

    155?

This fight should be @ 147.

It's above Floyd's best weight, but still, a better matchup than @ 155.

    Leonard wins by UD.

And idiots like you would claim that he actually should have fought SRL.

This is like Pac fighting DLH, but not just DLH of now, but a prime DLH at 147... And look at what people think about that fight (with a faded DLH).

PBF cannot duck a fighter in his prime who is a few weight classes above him.

That's what deserves a :deal . Not your post.

he was giving a :deal to floyd ducking Srl at 147 so that would be the same weight class

unless you are talking prime then floyd would be at 130-135

Well let's say Floyd Mayweather was born in 1953 and comes out of the 1972 Olympics and moves up in weight gradually.

Around 1980 or so, he's gonna be either at 140 or 147. If he's @ 147, he's gonna be in the same class as Leonard (and Hearns, Duran, Benitez).

Floyd grew out of those weight classes, I don't think he could make 135.
