To further my case, let us not forget that Floyd also said the IRS were lying and that he didn't owe them anything and hadn't lost any money. He later did an interview and when asked about having to pay the IRS, Floyd responded, and I quote, "Two fights and I got it all back."

exactly, but you still have the morons who believe what this common trash tells them. the guy doesnt have an ounce of dignity or honor but certain people still defend this worm. why? why would a person defend such low morality? im not saying you have to condemn such behaviour, but why defend it. what is lacking in your character that would make you side with such a little man?
i can understand someone defending floyd from claims that he sucks in the ring but trying to find justification for the squirrely way in which he conducts himself is something a man would not do. then again, theres not too many men who are fans of floyd outside the ring.

 

Than that was my mistake and I own up to it. I meant to say he wasn't doing anything remotely dominating the sport in 1996, not hadn't turned pro. Anyone trying to debate that Floyd was a more recognized boxer in 1996 than Roy Jones, Oscar, Holyfield, Tyson is a fool. No. He has not been dominating the sport of boxing since 1996. He's accomplished a whole hell of a lot since 96 and deserves to be proud of himself for what he's done but that 96 line is full of ****. If Floyd didn't talk like a moron, just went in the ring and boxed his boring but extremely effective style, I'd have no problem with him. But he says things only a mentally ******ed person could believe. But here's the catcher, HE BELIEVES THEM.

So, I dislike him but I'm not a hater. Pacquiao's my favorite fighter and I don't enjoy watching Floyd box, at all. But I'd still make Floyd the favorite over Manny because I'm not a blind follower who hates his favorite boxer's opponents or potential opponents like enemies of their father or something.

I love boxing, but I'm an intelligent person. I'm not going to just forget that I'm not stupid just because I log onto a boxing forum and someone says my favorite fighter is going to lose. But, logging onto boxing forums these days, it's almost as if I have to spray myself down with "****** repellent" before I do, just to make sure none of the mind blowing stupidity rubs off on me. It's not easy. It's gotten to the point where the actual boxing fan who likes more than one fighter, or, fighters from more than one country, are outnumbered 1 to a 1,00 by the blind fanatics, not fans. Idiot fanatics talking about how much their favorite fighter is making, and how little someone else's favorite fighter is making. What the **** happened to you people to make you care more about a fighter's paycheck, than what that fighter does in the ring? Gerry Cooney made more in his entire xareer than Emmanuel Augustas/Burton and Mickey Ward in the entire careers COMBINED, in just his fight against Larry Holmes. But I'd still rather watch Augustas/Burton and Ward any day of the week.

 

consider though that it takes statements from all of Pac's team (Pac, Arum, Roach, Koncz, Ariz) for conflicting statements to happen. Floyd does it all on his own

he tried and got pulled back to the reservation by Arum. Since this Mayweather-Pacquiao fiasco he has sued Golden Boy, so I really doubt they want to get more involved with him.
