    Perfect quote for the deadbrain era of the MMA fan. Boxing is a sport, like baseball, hockey, basketball and football. A-Rod, Wayne Gretzsky, Michael Jordan and Steve Young probably aren't going to kick your ass in a dark alley either, they'll never be in a dark alley in the first place because they're loaded. The fact that their athletes will give them an advantage but pondering about street fights are for scared suburban white kids, i.e. MMA fans.

    Floyd Mayweather in my opinion, he chats aload of ****. He's ducking the best comp, and is just concerned about money. He wins, but does he really bring his A game..? His fight vs JMM was like watching a ****ing chicken peck at it's food...i appreciate boxing skills and sweet science.........but come on.........he wants to call himself pound for pound number 1..! pound for pound number 1 at what...?

    Roy Jones Junior can still throw better combinations than Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones Junior is still pound for pound the best hooker in the game.

    well said... I don't ****in watch boxing because average joes like or respect it. I watch it cause it is one of my favorite sports and I enjoy it. Who gives a **** what other people think..

    Wow....many of you seem to have let that quote go right over your heads. They aren't knocking Mayweather in any way little fanboys. That quote is more about where boxing is these days. Sadly most of you were in diapers when boxing's baddest man and biggest ticket seller was the baddest man on the planet.

    Just because you're old doesn't mean you're right, quite the opposite. I'm not a fan of Mayweather but that quote was clearly made by a pseudo tough guy to deflate a brilliant performance. Dana White is just sour because he lost.

    if boxing is dead and ufc and mma is all that, how come mayweathers last fight took twice as much ppv sales as ufc 103.
