What part of Cotto isn't PBF don't you understand? Add to the fact that Margo probably had loaded gloves and you have no argument here.

Marco Antonio Barrera was a great win and definitely NOT past his prime. MAB at that time was top 3 p4p fighter years before Pacquiao was a global icon, and years before he became the complete fighter and finished product that he evolved in to. This was also a stunningly "easy" night for Pacquiao which adds to the victory.

Before this fight, Barrera hadn't lost since 2000, when he dropped a debatable decision to Erik Morales, and before that, 1997, when he lost a second straight fight to Junior Jones. And he had never been beaten like this, so thoroughly and so overwhelmingly.

He never looked like that before, and never really looked like that after, even once he was well past his peak. Ledwaba was the arrival. This fight and performance by PAC was the definitive proof that there was something special about him.

Ledwaba (33-1-1 coming in) was such a big favorite that Vegas didn't even have odds on the fight. Pac was only 22 years old and was a late injury replacement for Enrique Sanchez. PAC broke the slick South African's nose in the opening round and really never relented, battering the champion en route to a totally one-sided stoppage in the sixth round.

Juan Manuel Marquez, in 2008 was epic and a great win for Manny. An excellent fight between two excellent fighters. Marquez is often hyped as the fighter who has Pacquiao's number, but at the same time, Pacquiao had gone blow-for-blow with the great JMM over 24 thrilling rounds between 2004 and 2008. Their second fight, for my money, was the greater of the two bouts, and the better overall performance by Pacquiao. Faced with a fighter he couldn't keep down or off of him no matter how hard he hit him, Pacquiao rose to the occasion and put on a brilliant fight with an equal. Over two fights, there was little separating Pacquiao and Marquez, and their rivalry is about as good as it gets.

The Hatton win was another great win for PAC. Rick Hatton had never lost at 140 pounds or come particularly close to losing since dethroning Kostya Tszyu in 2005. Manny put him to sleep in the same fashion JMM sent Manny to La La Land in their 4th fight.

He was talking about him being banned and fighting with loaded gloves smartass, not that he was scared of a legal glove fighting margo. No fighter wants to face a known cheat who loads his gloves. He could have found out the hard way like Cotto did when he fought the glove loading cheat.

Agree on MAB. That was Pac's best win.

Pac vs JMM is even as AFAIAC.

Hatton was KTFO by Floyd. Pac thought it safe to fight him after.

Floyd just got to Hatton first but that was at 147 which was not Ricky's ideal weight. Still a great win for Floyd and Manny.

Pac was starched by JMM, a fighter Floyd toyed with for 12 rounds. What's your point? Floyd didn't even lose to Maidana. The Maidanas/Castillos will always be a tough style match for Floyd. That's why I say no version of Pac beats Floyd. Pac doesn't fight like Maidana.

margo was stronger and bigger then maidana even without the so called loaded raps he hurt gave pac his toughest fight

Margo would of been a bad style match up for floyd thats why he ducked

The weight wasn't really a factor in Mayweather-Hatton. That was of more relevance in Hatton's previous welterweight title tilt. Mayweather had come from 130, wasn't a big welter, hadn't yet gained the stockier build he eventually found at 147. In fact, Hatton's camp openly predicated on their belief that Ricky was the bigger, stronger man.

Mayweather beat a better Hatton than Pac, one who was cocksure, undefeated, more robust and wasn't caught between intuition and instruction, via faceted, clinical deconstruction and cinematic TKO. Pac, to his credit, finished off the leftovers in ruthless, spectacular fashion - Hatton looked like he was choking on a swarm of bees just prior to the second knockdown in the dying seconds of the 1st, which, even above Ricky convulsing on the canvas, is my abiding mental image of that fight.
