Lol, shadow, how old are you? You know it's okay to critique a fighter even if they are an ATG. They aint gods or something. You don't gotta go ride or die. These guys don't pay us to do advertising for them and most don't know or care who we are.

I sure am, the still photos are important as it gives you a different angle than what you see on TV and it really gives you the kind of high quality detail of punches that you lack when watching a TV broadcast. Floyd was trying to roll with a lot of shots, but he couldn't avoid many of Canelo's punches, as seen in the photos. When watching these shots on TV, Floyd's pulling back may have gave the impression that he was making Canelo miss. In many cases, he was still getting caught just was rolling with it as it was landing.

Yup and Canelo still found a way to dig shots into his rib cage when he tried to coil up. See here -

Have you seen these still photos before? Are they useful in understanding the kind of shots that Canelo landed on Mayweather?

Mayweather is jealous, that simple, the manchild can't let anybody have their time in the sun.

He is STILL dressing like a 13 year old, arguing with and running around chasing a YouTuber for his hat, having pubes stuck on his head and in his face, about to "fight" another YouTuber who is 0-1 and is now officially a clown..

Canelo is tearing it up, dominating and doing it in a fan friendly style.

Mayweather really is one sad individual, genuinely, as a person he is a car crash, he is also a serial woman abuser and I can't believe he has any fans left, says a lot about them as people to constantly defend this a-hole.

Can we agree on Floyd's "prime"? Was it at 140 or 147?
    at 135:
    NDou
    Castillo
    Castillo
    Hernandez
    Augustus Burton
and a bunch of other Latins
    At 140 he defeated:
    Corley
    Bruseles
    Gatti
    At 147 he defeated:
    Mitchell
    Judah
    Baldomir
    DeLaHoya (barely)
    Hatton
    JMM
Mosely (his only knockdown IDFAF what Steele decided)
    Ortiz
    Cotto (150)
    Guerro
    Canelo
    Maidona
    Maidana (his only possible loss)
    Pacquiao
    Berto

I'm going out of a limb and say he was prime at 147, maybe 140.

Ok, what is Canelo's "prime"? Surely at this point it's 168.

So head to head, prime for prime, Floyd is going to defeat a Canelo that outweighs him by 21 or 28 pounds, right?

And Floyd would outbox him by running around more than vs a faded, much smaller Pacman?

And somehow Floyd is going to have enough power to keep Canelo off him all night, because of his magnificent "shoulder roll" technique.

Did anyone here see Callum Smiths left arm after fighting Canelo? The left arm like he'd be slamming Floyd on for 12 rounds?

At 150 and below Floyd beats Canelo all day, every day. At 168, Canelo manhandles Floyd and wins a well deserved UD.

pac fight should have happened earlier, we all know that.
who's fault that was is dependent on who you ask.

but the canelo fight happened during the only window of opportunity there was.
canelo was clearly going to move out of 154 sooner rather than later, and floyd wasn't a 154 fighter.

This is true. I was surprised how conservative mayweather was against pacquaio (especially the clinching), he truly really isn’t like that despite his image of a ‘boring fighter’. This is not indictment on canelo. Canelo still a good fighter

You don't think Floyd could break 70,000? Lol

His gate receipts were above canelo with 16000 in Vegas

Also aj has done 80-90k on numerous occasions

Absolutely not! What was Floyd's biggest attendance? A measly 15,000?? LOL Floyd couldn't come close to filling a stadium, the Mexican fanbase is much larger and much more loyal to come out for Canelo than Floyd's fanbase. Floyd couldn't even sell out the T-Mobile vs McGregor, there were tons of empty seats in the upper deck vs McGregor, and that had crossover appeal with all the UFC fans. You must admit, Canelo is the king when it comes to butts-in-seats. By the way when Pacquiao fought Clottey and Margarito at the Cowboys Stadium, he only drew 41,000. (only 36,371 in paid attendance vs Clottey) 51,000 was expected but only 41,843 / 41,734 showed up. Canelo blew those numbers out of the water vs Saunders.

Where can we get the gate receipts for Canelo Saunders? Is it available yet? I don't see how how any of Floyd's gates could possibly eclipse the gate vs Saunders, unless his ticket prices were over 5 times on average what Canelo's ticket prices were for Saunders. I know Mayweather Pacquiao's ticket prices were mad expensive, though. So maybe those tickets were more than 5 times as expensive on average, actually I'm pretty sure they were, so that would explain that. But is it really something to brag about to charge people an arm and a leg to see a fight in person? If that's the case, only rich people could afford to see Floyd Pacquiao. Canelo is a man of the people, a man of the common man and unlike Floyd, regular people who aren't super rich can actually afford to see a Canelo fight.

So if Floyd made more $$ vs Pacquiao than Canelo did vs Saunders by charging ridiculously expensive tickets, is that really somthing to brag about? I remember Bob Arum was talking about building a stadium specifically for Mayweather vs Pacquiao remember that lol. That's how big Bob thought it would be, then they end up fighting in a small arena? That should have been fought in a stadium, with the combine fanbases of Mayweather and Pacquiao but could that have got 73,000? I'm not sure so, and we'll never know. But keep in mind that Canelo got 73,000 on himself alone. Saunders didn't bring any fans from the UK, so that 73,000 was almost all Canelo. Even if Mayweather Pacquiao filled a stadium, it's still more impressive what Canelo did vs Saunders because tht 73,000 was pretty much all HIS fans. Anotherwords, he did those numbers all by himself, he didn't need another ATG to do numbers like that. Canelo vs Spence could probably get over 100,000 don't you think?

AJ's a massive draw in the UK. He got 80,000 at Wembley if I'm not mistaken, not 90,000. But he again he also had a big dance partner. Klitschko was a much bigger name in the UK than Saunders was in America. But in America, Canelo's the drawing king. AJ could only do those numbers in the U.K., not in America.
