I disagree. The third man in the ring has a lot of responsibilities, especially in large PPV events like this one. The ref pretty much has the power to f*ck up the entire event. That's a tremendous amount of pressure and he should be paid much more for this, I think it's ridiculous.

Whats this I hear about sudden changes of betting odds in the US. I read that at one stage the odds were 13-1 and have now moved to 3-1 in Mayweather's favour. I'm concerned that something fishy is going on behind the scenes and that if the figh goes to the scorecards Floyd won't get the decision regardless.

Agree. Considering how much the fighters, promoters, trainers, etc make, 10K for such a huge fight is pocket money. I'm not suggesting 100K, but somebody above thought 50K would be more reasonable. Fights like this don't come along that often.

The less the ref and judges make, the easier to buy them off :deal

Everyone saying canelo is the one that is gonna get robbed is a mental midget..

    1) GBP pays the judges
2)vegas wants canelo to win...23 yrs old V. 36yrs old. Who brings in long term revenues??
3)the big underdog winning a close decision always bring in MUCH bigger numbers for a rematch than the reverse.
    4) Showtime wants mayweathr to lose because then they'll have ample reason to wiggle their way out of that absurd contract...they know they'll lose money on ANY fight where canelo isnt the opponent.

That fvcking "0" is about to go!!!

You all realize that $10,000 is just what they state he is getting. How can anyone control what someone pays someone? You don't have to slide a fat envelope under a table while the world is watching.
