If Floyd comes back and beats Golovkin, Pacquiao pt.2, Kovalev and Rigondeaux then it would be VERY difficult to argue that hes not the greatest. Hes already great and Ali did some great things but right now, he wont be remembered like Ali will be for years down the track. Unless he comes outta retirement and risks it all...

 

Floyd miss lots of opponent in each weight class he campaigned in.
Ali is probably the only fighter in the History of the sport who can claim to have fought anybody anytime anywhere, weather they are European no hopers to absolute monsters in their prime.

 

If you have to declare how great you are to the masses, you obviously are not that great. duh

 

That doesn't make him the best. You obviously missed the point that history will see him for his body of work and if the world thinks Ali is the best, it's because he was the best and not because he called himself the best.

 

Ali didnt NEED to say it. If he'd not opened his gob once, you'd still rate him a top ATG.

Floyd feels the need to classify himself as a top ATG. Hell he wants the number one spot without putting the graft in.
