Yup, the entire world sure wants to hear about millions and millions of dollars, especially in this economic climate. I mean, cuz that's what most people care about when they watch boxing: who made the most money off things like thousand dollar nosebleeds for "the masses". Good thing "Mayweather IS America"...

Floyd needs to realise that boxing isn't the WWE, you don't need to create a character if that is indeed what he's doing. If he is actually just being himself then he is probably one of the biggest ****s ever to have walked the earth.

 

What an utterly repugnant ****. I know people (his fans) keep saying that this is just a facade, a persona he has created to make people dislike him, be the bad guy and therefore make people want to pay to watch his fights in the hope they see him get beaten. Me, I am not so sure it's all a front. He's too damn convincing. He wears the clothes of the scmuck far too well.

If I am totally wrong and he really is a decent guy, maybe he should consider a career in Hollywood? If he really is a thoroughly decent character who does actually possess a shred of moral fibre then he will have made a fan out of me. Maybe he'll be the new Denzel Washington?

I think it's safe to say that Floyd's getting the lion's share of the purse (which is the real reason he doesn't want to fight for the belt). But he's not getting $60m, there just isn't that sort of money in the bout. And if there was, there's no way GBP would settle for Mosley getting such a small cut.

It's just nonsense. But Floyd's lied about this before, remember - with Baldomir and against Marquez.
