Let's be serious, Floyd ducked his way to greatness in the eyes of the fans who don't watch boxing. Genuine boxing fans know:
- what he did achieve : which was ducking his way through a who's who of 140-147, facing only low-threat opponents at opportunistic moments of their career. He also had his judges get him over the line in at least 4 close fights such as Castillo I, ODLH, Maidana and Pacquiao.
- what could he achieve : take him back to the 80s to face Hearns, Duran, SRL and McCallum at 147, 140, 147 and 154 respectively and see how he goes.

He's one of the biggest BS artists in boxing history is all.

 

This is another thing I don't like about Mayweather, his delusional arrogance and his piddle poor attempts at brainwashing a generation of boxing fans that have been conned by him.

I've seen many great fighters asked how they rate themselves against all time greats and most of them if not all say something like "that's not for me to decide, it's for boxing fans and boxing historians".

Mayweather is nothing new we've seen Ali shout "I'm the greatest" and it was funny, charming, tongue in cheek and a lot of the time it was mind games but when Mayweather shouts about himself it comes across as arrogant, delusional and uneducated.

Instead of letting boxing fans sit back, digest his career and come to their own conclusions Mayweather has to insist he is the best ever and he trained harder than any other fighter.

If Mayweather really was the best of all time and he really believed it he wouldn't need to tell us, we would already know.

 

With loaded judges, a bicycle, selective matchmaking and a lot of hugging, it's not hard for an agile boxer to get a win.

You obviously believe that Floyd beat Pac clearly but most of the decent punches of that cringe worthy fight were landed by Pac. A Pac that was no where near his prime and Phloyd knew it. The further back you go the better Pac's chances.

2010 and Pac would have been close to a stoppage over Floyd. Just accept that your manlove for Mayweather has clouded your judgement.
