There's quite a few great or really good welters that'd have a shot at him. Fact is Floyd never fought any great fighters at their best (or anywhere near their best). Therefore he has no claim to be called the best ever. It all boils down to who you beat, when, where, and how. Leonard beat a prime Hearns, Duran, Hagler -- Floyd's not even in the ballpark. Floyd ran from his biggest rival for 5 years (who was smaller then him) then fought him on the downslide. Floyd's one of the most skilled fighters ever, and maybe the most clever matchmaker ever, but TBE no.

 

All this coming from a GGG fan that's what makes this post so sad and full of fail. You want PBF a proven ATG who's 40 and the best fighter of the era to move up yet again to face GGG. Yet you don't expect the same of GGG even if people ask him to move up once in weight to 168 and fight Ward. That's just too much to ask of him.
