Floyd Mayweather Sr doesn't get the credit he deserves, Freddie Roach won all the trainer of the year awards, so this year i think Floyd Sr. Should win it? Floyd Jr would never be as good without his dad.

yeah he was even pushing floyd on a bit in between rounds, i seen an interiew hes a bit dissapointed the people dont like floyd, if floyd had of went out and finished pacqauio hed get some love from fans, floyd should have listened. Roach look like a ****ing clown with that headband, no gameplan, no good advise. Sr. was confident that pacqauio wasnt on floyds level he belived it. he knows boxing

roach already knew pac has reinjured his shoulder. what else can he say?

actually pac was levels above floyd.

a diminished pac, who is a weight class or 2 away from his optimum weight, shut all avenues of floyd's offense, reduced to the pitty pat punches.

his defense mainly consist of runnign and clinching.

    there was nothing special there.

Freddie roach is a scam artist

look at how much khan has improved since he left him

manny ruined his career by staying with him

his tactic for the mayweather fight was to lose

    great tactic

    he executed it perfectly

Hatton went behind Sr.'s back and trained with boxing trainer Lee Beard in the evenings. When he got back to the corner after being dropped twice by Pacquiao, Sr. told Hatton, "You have to move your head. You can't bumrush this dude. You have to make him think. You have to feint before you try to hit him. Don't try to overpower him. You should have been listening to me from day one."

    From the Pacquiao-Hatton 24/7:

"The name of the game is hit and don't bet hit. That's the name of the game. Ricky is just a bulldozer, very aggressive, overly aggressive to me. To tell you the truth, he almost put me out of the gym when we first started because he really didn't know how to even hit pads. They never taught him defense, never showed no defense. Everything was straightforward, brute strength. That's not boxing. Strength means nothing if you can't find nothing to hit. To be honest, to tell you the truth, I might have saved Ricky's life."

He didn't listen to Sr. and paid for it by being immortalized "with nuts to his face on the Jordan poster".

    -----

    Roger said it best.

"If you can't beat Pacquiao, just give all your boxing equipment to me. I'm gonna pour gasoline on it and throw it in the garbage, 'cause you ain't gonna need it no way."

He's a better corner man than Roger. Roger is a yes man. I like that Sr. tells Floyd whatever he wants even though he knows Floyd could go off on him. He's like the only one not afraid of Floyd in that camp.
