Because Mayweather isn't the commission and they don't have to follow the rules he provides. They can simply move on and score other fights, which they did.

What I think of OSDT has nothing to do with this discussion. It's very simple and I repeat for the 1 millionth time. Mayweather demanded a new rule for this one fight which blew it all away. I don't get why Marquez wasn't offered that nor Hatton and many before them. Pacquiao didn't need to accept Mayweather's demand and he didn't. Arum demands venue, something always negotiated for whatever fight, and you guys are crying. I hate to imagine what you would say if Pacquiao demanded OSDT.

    ****ing done with you dude.

A vacant title was won in a fight against Zab Judah. Clottey has ZERO title defenses in his career.

Bringing up his IBF title is a joke. Which by the way, WAS ****ING LOST TO COTTO!!! Why fight the guy who lost a belt to somebody you knocked out?

    And over a Mayweather fight??

Look at this *****! As idiot as they come. Martinez has stated he will go down to 154 lbs for Floyd, is that to hard to comprehend, idiot? Anyone would take a shot at Mayweather in and around his division and Martinez is no exception. You think that if GGG was offered a fight with Floyd at 154lbs (or just even asked of thinking of fighting Floyd), GGG would say no because I haven't proved myself at 154?

And Cotto was willing to fight Ndam at 160lbs but not Martinez? And Canelo was too busy fighting 140lbs'ers, what makes you think he wanted to fight Martinez?

 ok Floyd is in the wrong for asking for testing, but Pacquiao is allowed to decline it because, well **** it.

and I don't get with Donaire didn't ask Arce for testing :patsch

I could care less if you're done or not. My point remains, both Cotto and Clottey gave each other hell in a 50/50 fight. Pacquiao went on to fight and beat both. I don't see what's the problem. Please don't bring up your prediction again as it was already proven irrelevant. Clottey wasn't an option "over Mayweather" so please don't bring up what another poster said within this thread. Mayweather blew off the negotiations so Clottey was another option worth considering. Was Victor Ortiz a better option over Pacquiao for Mayweather? No he ****ing wasn't, the Pacquiao fight didn't happen so he moved the **** on.

"Sergio says it, so it must be true." Doesn't get gayer than that.

Difference is, Golovkin knows Floyd is too small, and wouldn't waste time calling him out. Martinez isn't that smart.

    You're an idiot.

On the topic of big money fights for Sergio, he says he'd like to meet Miguel Cotto at a catchweight (I'd guess something like 156 or 157 pounds). Cotto, who faces Austin Trout on December 1, hasn't fought over 154,
but has expressed some desire to fight for a 160-pound title, and if he did a catchweight with Martinez, he'd be fighting The Man at 160, and not just some titlist.

Either Martinez manager or promoter said this. This fight will never happen.

So Cotto said it, then it must be true. :patsch

You really are an idiot. All I read from your post are "Martinez has to prove himself that he can make 154lbs to demand a fight with Floyd" you know that really sounds gay, specially when Floyd himself has never request such thing. You just keep on riding Floyd's **** and keep on saying that Martinez needs to fight at 154lbs first.

While you are at it look up where GGG says he will fight anyone from 154-168. Isnt Floyd a champ at 154, numb nuts? So he will say no if the chance presented itself?
