    lmao

Floyd needs to relax. Nobody in their right mind ever expected the fight to happen. It only becomes an option if Sergio moves down to 154 to fight Fish/Canelo winner. Then it becomes real. Other than that it's less likely than May/pac was to ever happn

Dude, are you defending the Clottey fight in lieu of fighting Mayweather?

Come on, Scar, you're better than this.

Yes, because officially failing to make the official weight limit makes it an unfair fight physically and obviously. Was Castillo vs Corrales II a fair result?

It doesn't matter what he should or would have done after demanding it, the fact that he demanded it ruined everything in the first negotiations. Then the second negotiations it was blown off after a year of inactivity by Mayweather for demanding more money.

Can you blame him though? What person in their right mind wouldn't become incredibly suspicious that a possible opponent refused/walked away from negotiations purely because they didn't want to do OSDT. If that was me, I wouldn't even bother with the guy anymore... refusing drug tests FOR YEARS might as well be an admission of juicing. My opinion

I'm not defending it nor comparing it to fighting Mayweather, hell no. I'm just saying that the fight wasn't a pointless one like that poster tried to make it look. It's not like Pacquiao went on to fight Clottey as a replacement, it was another legitimate option while the primal option wasn't working out.

You conveniently leave out how Arum needed 9 months for manny's cuts to heal, an outdoor ****ing stadium, and, despite the fact that Floyd has outdone and outearned manny at every point in their respective careers, manny somehow deserves an equal portion of earnings? 70/30 would've been fine.

**** yea it was pointless, be ****ing real.

Did you honestly think that fight would have turned out any different than it did with Clottey turtling it up for 12 rounds? That fight had ZERO RELEVANCE!!

I called that fight from DAY ONE: "Clottey is a walking punching bag for Pacquiao. It's going to be a snoozer." If you actually thought that fight was good when it signed, then I want to say you don't know **** about boxing. Easy as hell to see how that fight would play out. Anybody who thought that fight would be competitive or exciting are idiots and should never comment on boxing again.

The only reason Clottey was a "legitmate option" is because Mayweather had them shook and they didn't want their cash cow to get embarrassed before they could cash in on more fights. Which they've done before KTFO6 happened.....

Clottey was a gate keeper AT HIS BEST, that's it. And he hasn't done jack **** since....

Pacquiao came out and dismissed Arum's demand for 9 months off. Venue was never an odd nor extraordinary demand compared to a new testing rule. That demand was both disrespectful and shameless. He was indirectly calling Pacquiao a cheater while negotiating a fight with him. Pacquiao doesn't have to prove anything to Mayweather, he answers to the commission.

I am not the least bit disappointed that it'll never happen.

You know what else makes it an unfair fight? Taking ****ing steroids :lol::lol:

and that's so weak. Floyd asked for something very reasonable. Plus Mayweather AND Pacquiao would be taking the tests, not just one of them.
I don't blame him at all. When I intially saw Pac's reactions to the drug tests, I thought he was juicing. I've since then changed my view on that, but at that time, I did think Pacquiao was on roids because of him turning down the tests and how he did it

What a load of junk. Clottey gave Cotto a 50/50 fight in a bloodbath of a fight. If that wasn't enough proof to make him a legitimate option/threat in the division I don't know what is. Your prediction after the fight means nothing to me. Hey, I knew Tyson was going to fall short against Douglas even though I was only 6 years old.

How shocking, you believe he's on steroids. Of course he's going to be tested too, he started all of this.
