seriously there is nothing left to prove and no reason to come back, I dont want to see him lose his ud record which he might if he keeps fighting on forever
If pac beats DLH (and I'm giving a better chance than I think 90% of the non-*******s), he has to come back & settle things. That would bring new meaning to words ATG & epic
His lack of quality opposition will hurt his standing alltime...If he cares about that then he should be looking for another big fight or two. Because frankly, like Calzaghe, IMO his H2H ability is a great deal far ahead of what his resume reflects and he would require some more work to remedy this. I can see the logic in waiting around to another superfight comes along, I think really Pac is the best option right now. I do not see the logic in coming back for a rematch with Hatton. Dont forget Mayweather is a pro wrestler aswell, I can see a cheesy comeback right out of the lamest WWF storyline on the cards for the near future.
:good You are definitely right with the Calzaghe comparison (although Calzaghe is continuing to bring his resume closer to representing his actual ability). Thats the most frustrating part about Floyd's retirement, he could do so much more and really nail his legacy at welterweight. His quality of opposition at welterweight certainly doesn't represent his ability there, which is unfortunate as it gives people fuel to work with against him.
Id understand Mayweathers retirement if he was in a situation like Calzaghe where there is no one of worth for him to fight (Dawson aint a pay day) but there are plenty of challenges out there, theres Margarito, Williams, Cotto, DLH-Pacman winner, he could move down to 140lbs and goad some of the brilliant talent up from lightweight like JMM and Campbell, lets not forget he could always fight up again at light middleweight, or do the unthinkable and try middleweight (DLH managed it...just), just my opinion anyway.
Bull****. By the time Floyd left 130 had already achieved more then Calzaghe has ever achieved in his career to date. No comparison.
