The Cotto v Malignaggi debate. let me throw my hat into the ring with this.
I said at the time Cotto was so weight drained he was an accident waiting to happen, but he still managed to give Malignaggi a beating.

To me, that tells me that Malignaggi is useless. Cotto was like a skeleton on legs in that fight, but still he hammered Malignaggi.

Put your money on Ricky Hatton beating Paulie inside the distance. Why? Cos paulie is basically crap, thats why! Hes the american Hatton, hyped cos of his skin colour & his italian descent.
& as we all know, americans are suckers for fighters from Italian & Irish lineage.
Thats why they get overhyped, & thats why they get big fights.

& Malignaggi in my eyes has always been the american Hatton, pale skinned & doors open where they shouldnt.
At the end of the day Ricky & Paulie is the clash of the whiteboy hypejobs. & Ricky Hatton will prevail.

Why? Cos at least Ricky managed to beat an old Kostya. Malignaggi couldnt even hurt a dead at the weight Cotto. Its as straightforward as that.
