It makes one wonder......

I mean Floyd is KNOWN for shutting down all cameras and stuff keeping his sparring sessions "super secret".

Now, out of the blue, Floyd broadcasts a live sparring session (key word here too is LIVE, think of what all could have went wrong and the possible repercussions if it did :scaredas which has now put Omar's name all over the place.

Does Floyd have plans for Omar? ($$) Who promotes Omar?

 

I remember some guy at the scene posted details from one of Floyd's sparring sessions and they seem to always go like that:

champ_kw- "I sat in on Floyd's training camp yesterday and came away feeling pretty good about how his camp is going. I got there about 2:30 pm and the gym was hustling and busseling along as any boxing gym would be. Roger was there already working the mitts for a couple of fighters (including a female who looks pretty decent in the ring). In between rounds on the mitts, Roger would lean over the ropes and flirt with these two ladies standing ringside. This went on for about 30-45 mins. Suddenly the mood of the gym started to gradually change. Most of the fighters just working out in the gym started to clear out. Then the influx of people I recognized from Floyd camp started to spill in.

Garcia walked in and immediately started getting his tape ready. Roger and Nate were already there from earlier, but they both disappeared and , came back with "Mayweather Boxing Club" shirts on. Actor Jackie Long, Zab Judah, came in as spectators while Sechew Powell and Kassim Ouma came in to do work. I heard about Ouma's notorious whoremongering ways and it was on display in the gym. He talked and flirted with every female in the gym, while Powell stayed near the heavy bags throwing punches.

The door from the lobby finally opened and preceded by two big bodyguards Floyd walked in. The music started to blast Jeezy TM 101 while Floyd sat down to get his hands wrapped. Ever the showman, Floyd made it a point to mouth and use hand gestures to insinuate various lyrics of the songs. Sporting a white "BBH" (Billionaire Brotherhood) t-shirt,

After working the heavy bag, Floyd got back into the ring with Roger and Nate to work the mitts and the body shield. This is when the comedy gold for 24/7 cameras really got ramped up. To show off his ability to be at 147 already while Ortiz is apparently sweating down, Floyd began to drink Moutain Dew instead of water. After about the second go round on the mitts, Floyd started mimicing a matador while staring Roger down and his crew yelling "Ole' ". Floyd finished up and went over to work the speed bag. After working the speed bag, Floyd got back into the ring to do situps and neck work. While this was going on, Roger was sitting over with a white lady and a kid related to Judah and some other guy in glasses. "I'm Black and I'm Proud" by James Brown started blaring over the speakers and the 24/7 cameras got Roger and the kids dancing and singing in their seats whiile the white lady sat there...it was all in good fun and wasn't malicious though.

Floyd finished up by doing jump rope and went to change. Everybody spilled into the lobby where his family and crew were watching the Bengals vs Colts football game. Somebody that was in the gym stole Floyd's hand wraps after Garcia cut them off. The whole gym was pissed off and Floyd was visibly pissed as well. Floyd's bodyguard told me and this older couple from D.C. that Floyd does pictures and authographs when he finish changing, but the stolen hand wraps changed the mood of the gym. Overall, Floyd looks good and should put on a good performance."

thanks man. I enjoyed reading that, and yes, very similiar to what we got to watch from Floyd the other day.

I definately noticed Floyd "seeming" much more sharp and like himself the more time passed on in there.

j/k. that's interesting. It "feels like" to me that I don't hear or see **** of Don King lately. :think WhereTF is Don?

 

I mean, imagine Grey Shirt happen to drop Floyd (it is sparring) and that **** was sent out live....

King is still a slimeball in my book. But he may have mellowed with age.

I think he's stole.... I mean, made enough money over the years that he doesn't need to be on tv making a fool of himself. Unlike his opposite number over at Top Stank.

That said though, he always did appear to LOVE that lime light as much as the next up there and I would have assumed he'd still be up there soaking it in if he could.

In seriousness, it seemed he had all his eggs in the Heavy Weight basket....and we know how that turned out. He had the WBA on Lock down for a while there.

Last I can remember even seeing Don was when he and Bob Arum were being all buddy/buddy on a broadcast. (can't even remember who it was fighting though :huh (IB?))
