I am pretty sure that was just the 2nd time we had him on in 2012.

Both of them enjoy coming on the show, and we appreciate the time and insight that they (and all) of our guests provide.

Did you read this one? Just curious.

On the contrary, I appreciate the feedback and also your support!
    :good

Thank you for the kind words. :thumbsup

Yes i read it, the accusations weren't as bad this time but still nothing insightful not even about who hes working with.
And i think any esb reader can say that the jab is the most important weapon.

Its also getting old when he compares himself to Floyd, his defense was nowhere near as good as Floyd Jr (and yes i watched Sr fight)

I did not realise though that it was only his 2nd time of 2012, feels like a lot more.... did he get that much time in 2011 or is it just me that it feels like that much?
Out of curiosity do you know who were the top 3 that got the most interviews in 2011?
Because to me it feels like Floyd Sr and Steward but if im way off i gladly stand corrected.

Dont think it was a fix,but Hopkins was taking over and Oscar quit.He found away out without taking too much damage.

I actually respect his opinion and a lot of questions were asked of Oscar after that fight.Floyd sr's ego does get in the way at times but the man deserves respect.Look at Roach, the last few years he has talked a lot of **** but cos of the way he carries himself he gets more respect.Fans need to realise that boxing requires an ego.
For what its worth,I really find Jeff Maweathers interviews very insightful, and think he is one of the best around.

So Mayweather Sr thinks Dawson may lose because he's ***** whipped?

  6. Oscar did not dive. WTF is wrong with you people and that old man

Oscar De La hoya unlike manny pacquiao or floyd mayweather never ducked anyone.

De La Hoya fought with heart and determination against a fuking fraud LHW who bullies smaller guys

De La hoya is an ATG and it's a fuking insult for a crack addict to call Oscar someone who take dives.

Also didn't Roger get ktfo by Sugar Ray or Chavez or something?

I don't really pay attention to anything that have anything to do with Mayweathers or Pacquiaos so I don't really konw but I do know a member of the mayeather family got KTFO

**** off!Oscar refused to rematch Trinidad, wanted no part of Forrest, turned down Margarito, who had just beaten Cotto to bring Pacquio up to 147 thinking it would be easy. The same weight he refused a rematch with Floyd cos he knew he would get battered.Oscar was great for the sport but the man was flawed.
If Oscar had gotten up from the body punch and tried to fight on for a bit longer then there would be no problem. He chose to quit and fans have to deal with it.Anyone who has boxed knows a body punch can **** you up but you can still beat the count. It will tae its toll but if you an pound the mat like he did,I'm certain he could have stood up.

Oscar got nailed to the body by a perfectly placed shot and shouldn't have been in there with Hopkins in the first place.

Senior is ****ing stoned because Oscar was only ahead on one card and the judge in question must have been blind as a bat. Hopkins was way ahead on the other two cards and cruising.

The biggest problem I see with this whole dive theory is what would be Oscar's motive to dive? Money? He's already insanely rich so it isn't like he needs to do something like that to earn a dollar. A misguided attempt to make Hopkins a massive PPV draw? Not likely. So then what?

It would have been great for Oscar's legacy to go up to 160 and become the lineal champion but the fact is that he got beaten by the better man on the night.

Anyone who thinks Oscar took a dive is a ****ing clown.

No championship fighter on the face of the earth endures a ten week training camp to gets himself into magnificent shape only to fake a KO. He took big head shots, including an uppercut in the ninth and could have went down from that. Why go down off a bodyshot if it wasn't damaging?

As much as De La Hoya gets shredded by internet pussies who have never taken a punch in their lives, he is a warrior and a proud man.

The notion that he sat it out against Hopkins is ludicrous.

I don't think so. I believe it was a fight of who can hurt the other will win, so the bigger and stronger guy got it. Hopkins is just too big for Oscar.
