No he was simply too good for Oscar. Too "big" is a shortsighted excuse.

I think oscar was ahead by a round or the fight even at the point of the knockdown. He was up on one judges scorecard i think.
I do remember his brother years later saying Oscar was really depressed after that fight and wouldn't even jog or go near a gym for a long time, due to getting knocked out.

Too good? Oscar was beating him at the half way point. Oscar started slowing down in this bigger version of him, something everyone knew was going to happen quicker than it normally did.
P4P Oscar outboxes hopkins relatively easy.

Oscar fights Hopkins at a catchweight of 158 and gets bitched and the reaction is "He fought a fuking LHW champion faking in a MW'S body."

It doesn´t make sense the thought of the cash cow of boxing at the time taking a dive against anyone. It would have been more believable if Oscar dropped Hopkins with a bodyshot and people were saying Hopkins sold out to DelaHoya.

SR ,JR or ROGER take your pick! They know **** all about anything. A guy that Owns A number of Tv and Radio stations throws a fight. Maybe they made him an offer of $5k pocket change and he jumped at it. ROFL

It wasn't a fix but Oscar did quit!Floyd sr is entitled to his opinion,he trained Oscar and got him prepared only for his fighter to pack it in.It makes no sense for him to throw this fight but quitting like he did raised questions.

Being a **** wit is not having an Opinion. Where does he get that Oscar was a mile in front on the score card? He pulled it out of his Ass.
