Floyd Mayweather Sr.: PAcquiao can't fight at all

Fine pacman can't fight! So if floydie defeats the pac, floydie fans better not come back here praising him for beating pac! After all, PAC can't fight and can't hit anyone even if they're asleep!

 

The Mayweather's seem to a bit elitist when it comes to this I think. Like being a slick fighter is the only way to go, otherwise you don't know how to fight.

 

Yup. His approach with Ricky was too overload him with new stuff and try to change him overnight, no way in hell that was happening.

The effort it takes for a fighter that has never had much head movement, to try and apply it to an actual fight, while doing the things he's always done can be too much, he can't coordinate that. He probably has to remind himself to do it, and that's not the same as doing it out of habit. Takes away concentration to the point where you revert back to your usual style.

He might be able to start doing after a couple of rounds in a longer fight, but Ricky didn't get the chance.

 

You just have to wonder if Floyd Sr. really does have a warped view of Pacquiao and if he really believes everything he says.

Roger actually gave Pac a decent amount of respect. He picked Cotto to win but said if Pac wins then that means hes very good.
