What is this obsession the Mayweather's have with fighting 'black' fighters? Does it really matter?

 

If I was a moderator, threads like this would never be permitted. What the **** is the point of this???

 

What is up with American black fighters and fans obsession about fighting other black fighters?

It is a conscious effort to differentiate and then cry fowl when others do it.

I am not pointing at you in particular, but if we parrot some of Sr's lines and giving it a 'serious' thread, then we are validating his stupidity.

Not saying race has no place in serious boxing discussions, but Sr's approach and opinion denigrates it.

 

What strange to me is that people see things in terms of race. It wouldn't have occurred to me that neither man hasn't fought another black guy for a while. I don't know why this fact would be important or noteworthy.

 

i hope after mosley beats mayweather he gets out of the ring and beats the **** out of old man crack-cancer lungs, but nah he's too much of a gentleman for that.

 

I didn't call the Mayweather's racists, I just said that Floyd's comment was racist. I actually said they are ignorant. Major difference. And even if a white person made the statement, it doesn't make the statement any less racists or any less ignorant, now does it?

 

Me too. I didn't even notice that, and I keep up with boxing as much as anyone else on here probably. I didn't notice that Pacquiao hadn't fought a black fighter in so long until people started writing about it. I just don't pay attention to stuff like that I guess.
