Floyd is lucky he didn't fight Shane at Lwt. Now, Floyd was chasing Shane, but Shane was chasing Oscar at 147. The timing was just a bit off.

Why you say he was lucky, you dont think PBF had a chance?

Floyd wasn't exactly green at that time but Shane was basically unbeatable at 135 and he was primed. I don't think Floyd was ready. Shane was 27 and Floyd was at most 22. Likely, Floyd would have lost. Not to mention, Shane is one of the greatest lightweights ever and he looked way better at that weight than Floyd ever did.

If he did turn him down he probably had another fight scheduled or wanted the fight to get big before he fought him.

Also Shane was looking at a prime DLH fight at 147, Mayweather wasnt anywhere near that level when he was super feather champ.

Mayweather should fight him now, now that fight makes more sense than any other!

If this fight was guaranteed SSM to win, then why didn't he take it. PBF wanted this fight since 99!

Actually you might wanna watch the Gregorio Vargas-PBF where Shane was commentating on Floyds fight-Floyd was mocking Shane and after the fight he said he'd be happy to fight Shane:deal

By no means do I think that Shane ever ducked Floyd nor did Floyd duck Shane..

HOWEVER HAVING A TOOTHACHE AND A VACATION IN 2006 IS KINDA WEIRD WHEN FLOYD WAS ASKING FOR THE FIGHT..ALL SAID AND DONE THEY BOTH TURNED DOWN FIGHTS TO EACH OTHER I GUESS:yep
