You're wrong man. Naz' and Hatton's decision to switch trainers was to improve themselves inside the ring and learn new things that they hadn't been taught by a highly regarded trainer. It backfired, nothing they can do about it. A different trainer worked for Izzy Vazquez, Lennox Lewis, Wlad Klit, and others.

 

You can't blame none of this on Sr because at the end of the day its Hatton job is to take what he learn and apply in the ring which was no way to be found on fight night. Hands down, coming in with your face, no head movement, etc etc. Pretty much Hatton rely on what he knows best if to Bully in his way end and starting wrestling and attacking. I say Sr did an excellent job trying to teach Hatton new stuff but I guess you cant teach and old dog new tricks. Mayweather also advise for Hatton when he got signed for him to start taking care of himself and quit all the beer and fatty foods; something Billy Graham for years never seem to tell Ricky. All this blame on SR. is stupid because at the end of day its Hatton job to take what he learn and apply it in the ring but you see what happens when you don't listen !!!!

 

True - he also asked him "where the **** is the head movement?" The truest statement I heard all night was Johhny Nelson saying "Hatton gave himself no chance" WHich he didnt. Iff he'd stuck to the plan he could have taken the fight longer and possibly, just possiblly landed that left to the liver.. Jumped in like the old hatton and got sparked.

Yep, Hatton didn't even pay attention to what Mayweather Snr was telling him. If he fights on he needs to get rid of Lee Beard.

 

It's not his fault Hatton went in there like an amateur.

 

Hatton would have lost with graham or Sr. just the same. He's just too stubborn to learn anything. If you hire a guy who doesn't fit you it's your fault.

Mayweather is just a scapegoat for the British media/fans like Cortez was after the PBF loss. It's pathetic actually, Ricky is never to blame.

 

The point is not what Hatton did or didn't do in the fight.......It was the way in which Mayweather Sr. was toward Hatton in the training camp.....you don't show up late, people are waiting on you, and depending on you to be there, so the job can get done.

It is just rude and disrespectful to everyone else in the camp. It shows what an ******* he is......
