look, Im not some ass. If you wanna say he ducked guys, it can be debated. It has been and will be debated for a long time. However, you cannot tell me Cook was one of those guys. Look at his resume. People are killing the Ghost for wanting to fight Floyd now and the Ghost has a 10x better resume than Cook. Floyd may not have been the star he is now but he was still a top tier P4P guy. Cook cant complain about not gettign that fight

the only people anyone can accuse floyd of ducking with a half legitimate argument are COTTO AND MARG (which are both very debatable)

yes floyd retired and people say "owe what a coincidence, he chooses to retire when cotto is a freight train of success". floyd had bad hands for a long time during hes careeer.. hell hes first ever official recorded knockdown what basically done to himself (look it up). what time would have been good for him to retire? there was always a cotto or a pacquiao or a margarito

i think the argument floyd ducked marg has a bit of an asterisk over it seeing as the guy was using loaded wraps

anyone who brings up TZYU or PRIME MOSLEY/ODLH are kidding themselves and clearly dont follow boxing as this has been cleared up MULTIPLE TIMES

tzyu was fighting on showtime.. there was no way the fight could get made (though it would have been great)

floyd also called out mosley and ODLH when they were both moving up to 147 in one of hes post fight interviews (not sure which one but im sure some youtube searching will get you there). of course ODLH and MOSLEY wanted NONE of floyd but do they ever cop **** for it? NO....

why would superstars such as ODLH and MOSLEY pick out a talented young fighter like floyd who could very likely swoop there titles and success from out under them

the fight for them had NO upside

even when floyd took on ODLH he let him choose the weight , ring size , glove size and venue

id rather have a fair fight then no fight at all personally

I don't think it's alway floyds fight. However for some reason the fights never happened.
140 vs Kosta was the fight to make. what ever the reasons, it never happned when it should.

He wn the belts from a very weak 147. Then as soon as it got interesting he bailed. Prime Margo, Cotto and Williams were the scalps to get.

if floyd wanted these fights, he could have go them.

 

Cook was on PEDs. How else can you come back from an early KO loss to dominate like he did?
