Floyd's not a top tier ATG and his skill sets overrated. There's a few great fighters not mentioned that I think would beat Floyd no probs due to styles. Prime Carlos Ortiz would give him hell and Henry Armstrong would beat the **** out of him. I give you Jose Napoles as well. JN would out skill Floyd from any range he chooses. Different levels. I forgot to add Mike Mcallum at LM.
Did you suddenly forget these offers? http://www.badlefthook.com/2012/2/1...0-million-55-45-split-cotto-may-5-boxing-news http://www.badlefthook.com/2012/1/2...yd-45-million-flat-fee-next-fight-boxing-news
Those were counteroffers to Floyd trying to make the fight. atsch Floyd has made close to $100M w/out Pacquiao proving that offer was BS! Pac has never made what Floyd offered proving Pacroid priced himself out, ahem a ducker. FACT!
what this Pole shows that Mayweather is actually diminishing his own status as he fights on, he has possibly become one of the most unpopular fighters with his PED antics, battery of woman and egocentric attitude.
floyd really has no flaws in his style, and he's the most accurate boxer in history and his defense is the best in history. is he the best? skillwise no one scratches the pavement with him. yes he is in fact the best ever
henry armstrong was 5'5 no reach, poor speed, poor power, and he only threw one punch at a time................................................ his style was only effective when he was digging his head into someone's chest. floyd would just run all night and stay on the outside..
Didn't stop him beating the **** out of much bigger men. They were smaller back then but he still beat welters, lots of them. You dont beat Barney Ross if you cant close down boxers. Anyway, Floyd isn't a runner in terms of moving about the ring constantly, he's more economical with his footwork. When he gets chased by mobile enough guys he backs to the ropes and employ's his roll. Armstrong would eat Floyd on the ropes.
yeah i dont think a guy who fights with his head down and throws one wide looping punch at a time beats a technical genius... come on try to make sense of this
