I like him in the Canelo fight,such a deep understanding of boxing,his ability to take a punch is impressive also,he's so confident in his skills.

 

True that. He was a master boxer and an artist. I never get tired of watching his fights, especially his earlier fights.

 

His early fights are exciting to watch. Once he got to welterweight he is just a bore. You should box for defense. Once Mayweather got to Welter he boxed for Offense. That is what brings him down on a p4p list. I say Mayweather's best weight is SFW. Once he got to lightweight his power wasn't even there.

Most of those guys were over the hill. And he rarely did damage. Mayweather was a talented fighter. But often avoided the best when they were doing their best work.

 

only two were older than him I believe though....and he fought all of them coming off wins and were champs.

Beat the **** out of? Beating the **** out of a fighter is something Mayweather never did. Refer to SRR vs Lamotta rd 12/13 for a beating. Taking a fighter to a split decision let alone a decision is nothing close to a beating.

I don't believe he is the best technician of all time, but he is amazing, so many quality tricks that you can't see at full speed.

 

Mayweather clearly beat pac. It wasn't even competitive.

The only boxing you know is what Mayweather shoves down your throat (although everyone knows that isn't the only thing he is shoving down your throat)
